What goes wrong with the trigger on the x models after 3k rnds? He didnt say.

I was a bit confused when talking about being influenced by other people's anecdotal stories though....and he says people at the shops tell him Sigs and Kimbers are the ones they see with the most issues.....but then says he's got the Kimber micro and anticipates it going into his carry rotation. Lol. I mean, carry what you like and what you're comfortable with.....but I've heard as many horror stories about Kimbers as I have Sigs.

Yes of course. And my 29 never had one before that and hasn’t since. But it also didn’t lock up out of battery with a round in the chamber… two different types of malfunctions! Respect

@@spnfirearmsWhat specifically did your gunsmith say was the issue? For all we know it could have been a round that had a too long OAL and the bullet got stuck on the chamber lead. That exact thing happened to me with a HK USP Compact. Not th fault of the gun at all.

That's good to hear. They're extremely reliable firearms. I know they has a couple problems, but they were never as bad as people made them out to be (and SIG quickly fixed them all).

@@deucedeuce1572 you’re right, I do understand people’s concerns tho. The malfunctions were pretty bad when they did happen and it just shouldn’t be allowed to happen in the first place. They have resolved the issues I think.

...but there's a 1 in 1000 chance it might fail now. How could you ever trust that? lol. (People are pretty ridiculous sometimes when it comes to firearms malfunctioning). They act as if there is a 1 in 1 Million chance of a gun failing, then it can't be trusted... when in reality they're ALL subject to failures, even the best of the best (Like the 2 failures with his Glock).

Nothing wrong with that... as long as you have at least 5 backup guns you should be fine. Joking aside, many people carry Glock 43's and other similar guns... and they only hold 7rds. It is good to have backup mags though for quick reloads... but revolvers can be reloaded pretty quick too, even though you'll probably never need to. I highly recommend it though. I have seen many cases in which people really did need more than 5 or 6 rounds. In a life or death situation, 6 rounds will be gone in an instant, so if that's all you have (without reloads or a backup), you gotta bet your life that you'll get the job done in that first 2-3 seconds. I've seen dozens of cases in which people used guns in self defense and when asked how many times they fired their gun they would say they only fired 2 or 3 shots... but in reality they fired 10+ rounds or even emptied their magazines. It happens to cops a lot too.

Sounds like an oxymoron or a paradox to me.

@@jason200912 They are heavier than most... but sometimes that can be a good thing if it's still light enough to be comfortable. There are some advantages to metal framed guns, but the weight is always a factor.

@@deucedeuce1572 yeah for carry. They're all range exclusive guns unless they got an alloy frame. Easy to carry if it's an open carry holster which makes it a range or police use only

I'm with u on feeling most brands now put out good stuff. We can find a bad gun in every manufacturer. Like u said bullets aren't a 100% guarantee to go bang.

Yes. It was a failure to feed with some federal red tip ammo. My p365 locked up out of battery with a round in the chamber. Two completely different malfunctions

I've never heard of any going off by themselves. The trigger was pulled before the gun discharged in any of the cases I've seen (it just didn't release the striker right away until it was shook). That happens when the trigger is stopped too soon before it releases the striker, like when people buy adjustable triggers and the overtravel screw backs out... and/or if they put too thick of a spacer on their trigger stop pin. It's not really an issue and it's extremely easy to fix. If you do plan to buy one, I wouldn't consider that a reason to not buy one. Like with any gun that's ever existed, you have to clean, oil, maintain, inspect and shoot it to make sure it's safe and in good working condition. ANY gun can become dangerous for one reason or another, so it's up to the owner to know his guns are in safe, working condition and to keep them like that. (I believe that is why if a person owns a firearm, he should know precisely how the firearms works and how to assemble, disassemble, clean and maintain it).

People say they gò off by themselves because they don't want to blame themself for fn up.

x macros arent going off by themselves, its the p320s make sure u do ur research instead of asking others.

@@nikolv1815 well if you did research yourself you would find videos of the x macros trigger getting stuck and the gun firing when you shake the pistol. And yes the x macro not the P360 just fyi

My exact thoughts. Glock inferior at literally every aspect, but if you shit down the barrel, freeze it, and then microwave it for 3 1/2 minutes, it still shoots! #GlockPerfection

Agreed 100% to everything in this. Would ever take that bet. If you shoot a lot, you realize real quick that all handguns malfunction

My stock Glock 26 failed. It does happen. Locked up hard after a miss feed.

@@Suiax Sorry, but by adding your “imposter parts” in the form of aftermarket mags, you just increased your chances of having a serious malfunction. most people can reload fast enough using genuine OEM factory magazines that are the most reliable.

It was great for my other sig. but I had my gunsmith fix the major malfunction because we basically warned me this would happen with all the sigs he’s been dealing with and sure enough…

I was hesitant buying a hellcat being made in Croatia, but field strip a hellcat and look how it was built I think some American companies making firearms should take a look and learn from them

I don’t have a brand favorite I’m not a fanboy. You are clearly bias against sig and that’s fine just admit it. Like others have commented it seems like it hurts you the p365 was better then hellcat in 500 round shoutout. Like u want to hate it. I carry a variety of pistols. VP9SK ,Bul Armory Axe C Tomahawk, Echelon with ports, XMacro comp, Shield Plus, M&P 5.7, Canik MC9, Canik Rival SFX..I like good pistols not just a particular brand. I have no biases.
