In general, I hear SIG's warranty response isn't that great. There's KZfaq channel's regarding their P322's lead fouling, sent back to SIG, SIG supposedly fixed it, but people experienced the same lead fouling again. SIG is also denying that their P320's are going off in law enforcement's holsters and it's the officer's fault for accidentally pulling the trigger.

I’m sure I’ll get called a “boomer” or whatever, but this is exactly why I carry a S&W 442 Performance Center every day. I’ve carried a lot of firearms over the years and the ones that have never ever failed me is my revolvers. Yes, I get it, revolvers can have issues too. But they’re a rarity and very few and far between. I know that thing is going to go bang every time I pull the trigger. And if it doesn’t I just pull the trigger again. I’m not worried about capacity. I’m almost 40, married, and have kids. I don’t go to sketchy areas and don’t stay out late. And in my almost 40 years I’ve never had to even draw a firearm as a civilian and the likelihood is I never will. I’ll take 5 guaranteed shots any day over “well I hope this semi auto cycles”. I can literally shoot any kind of round including round nose, wadcutters, hollow points, etc. etc.
@deucedeuce15723 ай бұрын
Nothing wrong with that... as long as you have at least 5 backup guns you should be fine. Joking aside, many people carry Glock 43's and other similar guns... and they only hold 7rds. It is good to have backup mags though for quick reloads... but revolvers can be reloaded pretty quick too, even though you'll probably never need to. I highly recommend it though. I have seen many cases in which people really did need more than 5 or 6 rounds. In a life or death situation, 6 rounds will be gone in an instant, so if that's all you have (without reloads or a backup), you gotta bet your life that you'll get the job done in that first 2-3 seconds. I've seen dozens of cases in which people used guns in self defense and when asked how many times they fired their gun they would say they only fired 2 or 3 shots... but in reality they fired 10+ rounds or even emptied their magazines. It happens to cops a lot too.

Honestly... I think I would want a Glock style trigger safety on a P365 before I'd consider carrying one. It's such a simple idea, that invokes a great sense of assurance, and doesn't get in the way of the operation of the gun, that a thumb safety would. That's why when searching for a new micro 9 to replace my Ruger Max 9, I'm most likely going to ended up with a Hellcat, or Hellcat Pro. Still not sure which one, they both look great. Now, if only Glock and Walther can get their stack and halves out on the market. Then, it would be a no brainer.

@deucedeuce15723 ай бұрын
I've never heard of any going off by themselves. The trigger was pulled before the gun discharged in any of the cases I've seen (it just didn't release the striker right away until it was shook). That happens when the trigger is stopped too soon before it releases the striker, like when people buy adjustable triggers and the overtravel screw backs out... and/or if they put too thick of a spacer on their trigger stop pin. It's not really an issue and it's extremely easy to fix. If you do plan to buy one, I wouldn't consider that a reason to not buy one. Like with any gun that's ever existed, you have to clean, oil, maintain, inspect and shoot it to make sure it's safe and in good working condition. ANY gun can become dangerous for one reason or another, so it's up to the owner to know his guns are in safe, working condition and to keep them like that. (I believe that is why if a person owns a firearm, he should know precisely how the firearms works and how to assemble, disassemble, clean and maintain it).
