This week I decided to make a bigger lumber rack because the one I previously had was just too small. I kept it on casters so it is mobile and able to roll around, but I changed the cutoff storage to vertical instead of horizontal.

Dont know if you will see this comment April but I just want to say that I am fully impressed by you. The main reason I say this is due to the way you acknowledge when your thought process didn't quite turn out the way you wanted in your builds or if you make an error, you say that you messed up and then continue to to make alterations and finish the build. You have true grit and determination and we need more of that today. You gained a happy subscriber today! Keep up your great work!

I like the simplicity and open design. Any storage rack will eventually get clogged with small scraps that can get trapped in the bottom or back recesses. This is especially true in shops with more than 1 worker. This open design allows you to easily retrieve those bits to keep things organized. I appreciate you sharing this. I may copy some of these features into my shop.

What a talented woman you are. That is one very nice lumber rack. I envy anyone that can work with wood. While I can work with wood it tends to fight me every step of the way. And this is from someone that restores automobiles. I can take a car completely apart and put it back better than new. But ask me to cut wood to make a simple table and I am lost. Nice job and thanks for sharing.

That lumber rack is an awesome storage unit for all the shop materials and small left over useable scrap pieces, IF' your shop is big enough and you have the space needed to accommodate one. I need to add an addition on to mine in the near future before I can add anymore goodies to it. You know April it is amazing how far you've come along with all your projects ( even though you have always done excellent work ) and how well you have built up your shop to a point that any wood worker would be proud to call his or hers........

Excellent video. Your voice-over post production commentary results in a much more effective presentation than what a lot of people do in trying to use the built-in camera mic in real time. Not only does their doing that result in muddled, lousy audio (while yours is great), you don't get distracted by having to look up at the camera to talk while doing the work. Definitely, a superb video both in content and execution. THUMBS UP!
