i was just showing my friend some late 1970s Fleetwood Mac songs sung by Christine mcVie, and I said "holy shit, she looks like Joe Elliot with that ghastly hair cut" and then when they saw THIS video they said "holy shit! he looks just like her!"

Joe Elliot, is one of the most eloquent humble and down to earth rock legend; the other one that comes to mind of course is Mr. Sir Robert Plant. No pretentiousness just right to the point. Every interview so far that I have seen featuring Mr. Joe Elliot. I am always impress how this Legend is so transparent and smart . Long Live Def Leppard.🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘.

Bringing on the heartbreak has to be my personal favorite song. I believe that song broke Joe's voice, vocals I don't believe he had or was too comfortable with. However, he gone passed his comfort zone and did and still does an amazing job! And let's not forget the harmonization of the band. This sound made me realize just how close the lads were and still are. That is what I felt when I heard the band for the first time. Going on 30 plus years now and I continue to follow the band. Yes, a true fan at heart. Thank you and God Bless!

here's my terrible tale: I'm a stunt guitarist -- I do innovative shit other guitarists don't do -- and I was living in NYC... (not far from Bowie's apartment)...and one thing on my bucket list was being Bowie's stunt guitarist at some point (b/c Bowie loves stunt guitarists like Belew or Gabrels or Fripp)...but it wasn't something I was working towards.... ONE DAY i was in Edinburgh Scotland hanging out before a variety show began (hosted by the genius Reggie Watts who now is on CBS every nite with James Cordon), and my friend Reggie says to me "i want you to meet a friend of mine".... and introduces me to "Brian Eno" (!!) --- and at first I was shocked b/c Eno in 2008 looked like a short businessman -- and I said "THAT Brian Eno?" and Brian said "Yup" and he and i chatted for 15 minutes about Edingburgh etc and why he was there at the Fringe Festival. ("My daughter's in a play" me: "is it any good?" eno: "well my daughter is great in it, ha ha") I didn't want to talk music with him. A COUPLE YEARS LATER I've just done a gig with Chink Floyd ("The World's WORST Pink Floyd Cover Band") [we did no PF covers, ha ha], which was a crazy act that blew minds everywhere we went (i was on Guitar Sorcery).... and after the set... the wife of Master Lee [my tall asian frontman with long black hair] -- Larkin Grimm who is a semi-popular indie female musician -- and SHE introduces me to someone: "Meet my producer, Tony Visconti.Tony, this is The Ghost Of Touching You, who is the best guitarist i've ever seen...." (Tony was Bowie's right hand man til the end, and Bowie's longtime producer / bassist / close friend!) I was in the middle of stuff so I didn't try to talk to Tony at all....but in hindsight i should've taken charge and said "I do crazy guitar stunts and would LOVE to do an album with Bowie!"...because none of us expected Bowie to die suddenly, still young!

Funny how Rolling Stone was too cool for Def Leppard in the 90s. They were too busy chasing the Flannel Sound trying to be relevant.
