@philiposborne982

@OR MADE INDIA AS ALWAYS PROUD IN PMWL #1 OR OP don't take it personally. Lots of names, pupils move on after one year, multiple classes. They probably have more important things to worry about like meeting silly government check box targets and how they are going to meet their mortgage payments on a sub standard wage. This might happen to you in the work place as well. It's just a case of having too much to manage and/or a memory problem from drinking too much alcohol to deal with the unnecessary stress modern life puts on people in authority. The most important thing with school is taking the information you are going to need for your life and future career. Learn to be a life long learner. There is a lot more to most subjects than can ever be covered by a national curriculum. Good luck with your studies. Get the grades, your teachers will seem less important to you once you are an adult with decent grades. They just want you to succeed and have a good life. That's why they are teachers in the first place.

Philip Osborne Yeah but there are also just some terrible teachers out there who couldn’t care less. Like I said in my above comment, I had a teacher in dental school who only had 50 students and didn’t have to teach any other classes and still only learned 6 people’s names (while making 108k a year starting btw). It showed in the way she taught too. I’m all for celebrating teachers, but that doesn’t mean that every teacher is great. I have had many incredible teachers. I have one from 10 years ago that still calls me on my birthday, but they are not all good, like any other profession.

No you are wrong , he wasn't trying to hold back tears . If you have eyes you can clearly see he is trying to hold back himself from trying to make out with his student because that's how much he loves his students and you can also see Jackman was contemplating giving half off his money to his former student. Not only that from his expression you can also figure out he had toast and tea for his breakfast.

But if existence were to mean a distinct appearance, attitude, personality and the ability to reference it with other people knowing what you mean, then by that definition Wolverine is real. I can walk into a room, start talking about Wolverine, and the vast majority of people will know what I mean. So to that extent Wolverine is real.

My PE teachers were ex British Army. In winter they would send us on cross country runs through the mud and slush. We would come back to showers with only slightly tepid water. Trying to get back into school uniform after, your hands were so cold they didn't work. You were lucky if you could get more than a couple of shirt buttons done up and forget about having a straight tie.

@@deep.space.12 We don’t talk about Rollo…BUT! It was our P.E. day (It was our P.E. day) We were getting ready, And there was not a fight in sight (No fights allowed, none in sight) Rollo walks in with a mischievous grin (Oh no!) You tellin’ the story or am I?! My apologies my friend, go on Rollo says it’s dodgeball day (why did he tell us!) In doing so he floods our brains! (Someone grabs the first bola) Fights galore, Jackman’s enraged! Just another day, but anyway We don’t talk about Rollo, no no no We don’t talk about Rollo!

Not just that he remembers the student, He also remembers his name. That too after so many years even when he spent just one year as a teacher (I looked this up) thats pretty astonishing

It means either the student was very intelligent in his subject or was a super annoying student.

I'd wager that his students are more memorable to him since he was there for only a year. If he was there for multiple years, then the names and faces might be a blur.

Love Hugh Jackman. Such a genuine person that never lets his fame go to his head. Always stays grounded and remembers those people in his life. All the girls would have loved him as their PE teacher
