I was torn whether or not to buy the creatures since I never bothered with the protectors last year, but seeing them in person and in action has really shifted my view on them a whole lot. The toa just won't seem complete to me without the creatures.

Hey! Just letting you know you forgot the second pin in the Shadow Trap! The little grey pin you use to plug it's "eye" in also goes into the other side too! Just wanted you to know before you put it in a review. :) Can't wait for the other videos!

You can use small feet and claws from 75112 and other gunmetal parts to make a Fire/Steel type evolution

The only problem I found with the creatures is that 3 of them are silver and, I find the silver head/helmet clashes a bit with the golden unity masks.

Nope; they are aesthetically and functionally *similar* to some of the old Bohrok pieces (hence people calling them "Bohrok-like gears" and so on, which just makes it more confusing) but these are actually completely new pieces. Easy mistake to make though, I totally understand the confusion.

Jared Yepez Yeah, they're pretty similar. Like I said, it's extremely easy to confuse Technic pieces (especially ones as similar as these ones).

Hey, at least you got some though. Based on how things went last year, I'm gonna have to wait another month and a half before *any* of them show up in any local stores for me... Really though, enjoy! I'm sure you'll manage to get Ikir soon, and until then remember you've got 11 other great new toys to occupy your time!

It was a reference to "Gravity Hurts" by Cryoshell, used in a promotional video for the Phantoka Bionicle line in 2008. They had the ability to fly and merge with the smaller sets, vaguely like this. :P

+Parsa Khani The whole point of these is him building and talking to his viewers, it's why so many people watch them. IX goes casual. This isn't a speed build, they never were in the first place. If you don't like it (sure sounds like you don't) then don't watch. I highly doubt he's going to change them just for you when the majority of us like these videos for the reasons you don't.
