The Nevada gaming commission needs to review the decision and change it to a no contest, but they'll surly side step it since the stoppage didn't happen to a big name fighter like Tank or Ryan Garcia. Tony Weeks treated the fight like the old man had taken a beating for 8 rounds and had seen enough, when he was actually winning on all 3 score cards. First, Weeks called it a knockdown in the 9th when Barroso was obviously pushed down, and then he incredulously stopped it while Barroso was firing punches and NOT getting hit! Lets not forget that this was a title fight! Why does boxing continue to disappoint us? A better question is, why do we keep paying our hard earned money to watch and bet on a sport surrounded by inept people and shady politics? SMH

That wasn't a clean knockdown-the replay showed an obvious push. The other fighter was ahead on all three cards and was in no trouble. The referee's stoppage of a World Title fight for no reason needs to be investigated!

Rolly was clearly going to lose this fight. Barroso was dominating each round. It was going to take a KO for Romero to win but those weren't punches only pushes. I wouldn't have felt right accepting the belt knowing i didnt earn it. I mean, they stripped this man of his belt for no legitimate reason. He didnt get KD, no stoppage or anything. Like nothing could have been done about this? After the replay should have continued the fight.
