Voight related with Roman on this, he was in the same spot, so he knew exactly how Roman felt. This is why he's the most feared and respected person in that precinct. He's earned both sides of that coin.

@@starrazzure No he is 𝙉𝙊𝙏. It's a difference between "Dirty and, Necessary" He is what Chicago needs to catch the bad guy. He does not kill innocent people. He Helps in his own way, when he knows it's right. I love Voight Character. He get the bad guys of the street by any means Necessary. I love Atwater. I can't wait for next week for the 2nd new episode.

The thing that I think also caused Voight to reconsider, was that Roman was uprfront and honest about it too. He was willing to go to prison because of what he did. Also, the metaphor for absolution was very strong here. Voigt is like the all-seeing, all-knowing eye that guards over his team, and it was his decision to absolve Roman of what he did.

@@lex_animals8408 Even so, the OG is comment is correct. Hank is always watching/guarding his team and protecting them when they make mistakes. He also figures out/picks up on when someone is lying or keeping something from him. I like OG's use of "All-seeing eye." It fits Hank Voight quite well.

Also, if you’re so angry about it and say mean things online. Well you know what that shows right? Simple psychology shows people that are mean online to people are insecure people and/ or jealous people. No happy secure person says mean things online. You know why? Because they’re not insecure or angry. So go fix yourself! Also, again the guy that plays him said he never intended to stay long. As an actor he wants to play many different roles and not just one. He didn’t quit, he went on to play many other characters in shows in movies. Seriously look stuff up before you just shout BS online. Again be better and whatever makes you insecure. The beginning of the eulogy...im dying of sadness for Roman. Everything he said shows how much he cared for and loved his sister. It really got me when he said “so we can be there next time someone screams for help” im crying right now. And Voight...never ceases to amaze me. I guess he does have a heart when it’s needed💕

Only 3 from Firehouse 51 came to show support for Sean Roman. Wallace Biden, whose wife was one of Sean's sister's teachers, Sylvie Brett, who had a one-night stand with Roman a few years earlier and Randall McHolland, whose wife Trudy was one of Roman's superiors at the 21st District until he retired due to an injury. Good that Sean's parents forgave him after he failed to find his sister in time.

I don’t know but I lost excitement watching Chicago P.D after Alvin was killed. I was devastated, damn! That really hurt, what will become Voight without Alvin. Watching Chicago PD, in my mind Voight was my dad and Alvin my god father, and Kevin my boyfriend ahahaha guys I am serious.. I love that show but everybody leaving, it don’t make sense. I did like the fact that Voight n Alvin always have each other back what ever happened, n Voight over protective Erin, it was triggered n excited to watch Then, I don’t know.. well my man Kevin still there lol it’s a great show, but they have to stop keep changing actors..

isaac carrington I will definitely go for the first unit. Don’t get me wrong they all good, but we needed more then being good. What make them weak, we know Voight could kill anyone for Erin, n Alvin n Voight are inseparable, thats exciting to watch , especially when Erin is on some kind of danger...I mean for me it’s about the good work n the relationship between them.i really loved the old cast of Chicago PD.

Man I have to give roman probs on his a eulogy those were deep word's and really touch burgess heart just hope make her forgive herself so she won't keep feeling Gilt, regret, pain and most of all suffering cuz she doesn't have to keep blaming herself. U can't change and control ever out come roman understand that to let go all your sorrows otherwise u'll carry a heavy burden then keep ur feels bottle up in not asking for help. He knew that keep all ur emotions inside is never a good thing one day I hope burgess can talk to someone about her suffering so she let all go cause she's practically screaming for help.

I LOVE the fact that everyone waited for Kim so they could all walk out as The Intelligence Team together! Hank knew what Roman had to do! And I am SOOO glad they did Not charge Roman! I like his being able to guest star in the future. As for Kim & Adam being together.... it's meant to be. They BOTH want it for their characters. We ALREADY know Adam LOVES Kim so much (with or without the pregnancy), and Kim knows this too. BUT she is still hurting from his slack outlook on marriage. She already said they were family. This is how I see her finally realizing she can't live without Adam.... he has to almost die for her to wake up emotionally toward him. When she is faced with the fact that he will no longer be there for/with her .... she is gonna come out of her deep dark cave regarding her honest & true feelings for Adam!!!! AND I CAN'T WAIT!!!

If we had more real cops like Voight… Let’s say there would be way less crime in the world. Yes in the beginning he made not so good choices and his methods aren’t normal. Yet… normal doesn’t work most of the time. The justice system usually doesn’t bring people to justice and if it does it’s usually the minor criminals that get it harsher. Voight makes sure the bad bad ones get what’s coming to them. Might sound harsh but it’s true. If we had more Voights then there would be less criminals on the streets. That’s just the truth and the guy actually has a heart. I say this as a OIF vet who has seen and been through things. We need people like him on the streets.
