Another 10,000 Spartans or 10,000 Heavy Knights or 3,000-4,000 Roman General it would be a different result.

To no one's surprise, the Roman Generals were the MVPs. One might wonder if active control of the defending forces might have preserved the archers better to make a difference. they were ultimately unable to protect themselves in this playthrough with too many breakouts in too great numbers for them to just shoot down. Once again, you've managed the starting proportions to stay consistent through though most of the playthrough of about 8-9 times the defender numbers. When that proportion topped 10, one knew that they were in trouble. The Mongolians while hardly 'supers', were too numerous and tough to be overcome once they were the predominant numbers of attackers. Except for the defending side against the Persians, and the initial thrust and transitory breakout of the Roman Generals, it was a story of continual defeat and contractions. If you ever do a 'Roman Legion' it might be interesting to see a proportion of 79 regular romans, 1 Roman General interspersed throughout as officers, and 20 Roman archers in back or center.

Bottomline... the Egyptian Spearmen are not bad at all...
