What Marcus fails to understand is that if Purdy can at the least play average and avoid turn overs this Niners team is still capable of winning the SB. Also, he calls out Roman for being bias but then he goes asking where are his cowboys on the list. 😂

You're 100% correct. Championship play is executing the fundamentals and avoiding negative plays. And the Cowboys? When it comes to the playoffs, the can play one or two, or maybe even three quarters of solid football. Then in the third or fourth quarter they shoot themselves in the foot with bad play calling, mismanaging the clock, stupid penalties or their football IQ goes out the window on crucial plays.

You don't need a top qb to win a super bowl if the rest of your team is all time great. You have an all time great defense obviously and then you have George Kittle, Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel on offense. You only need an average qb to win a super bowl with this squad.

@@chadbrisco4042 couldnt be any more wrong. theres been super teams throughout the history of the nfl but have failed due to lack of qb skill/leadership. there’s a reason why qb is the most important position. you can count the amount of times an “average qb” has won the superbowl in one hand and none of them have been in the last 20 years.

The solution to that is a couple of blow out wins that will allow them to rest their starters in the fourth quarter. Or wrap up their division early. They are not a team - like the cowboys and the vikings - that NEED home field advantage. I still think the NFC title game will be the Detroit Lions v.s. the 49ers.
