Search British Georgian homes! They’re what you’re going for i think. Most older British homes are brick or a painted stoney texture, it’s pretty rare to see wood on the outside up north. Maybe stick to brick and just do green accents? Love the episode so far ❤

OH MY GOSH THE NEWS ABOUT JAMES AND TINY TOWN JUST MADE MY DAY

I finished the tiny town challenge yesterday and the tea was TEAING! 😂 Azure fell in love with Opal’s husband and Opal’s husband was also interested. They had no romance together but she still wanted to ask him to be her boyfriend and he asked on a date! (Frank also asked her on a date lmao) I said no to all of it but she was never able to find anyone that she felt the same way for again 😩 I struggled so hard to find her a partner so I left her single.

I was thinking that after you'll have finished Tiny Town, you could do a tour of Tiny Towns built by others to see what they have come up with! Just an idea

It's been so much fun watching your tiny towners with their beautiful homes and sparkling personalities -- I can't wait to watch James' version where everyone wears townie clothes and something catches fire every day 🤣

I am so happy you put the little glass of dentures next to Franks bed 🥹 I was going to politely ask if you didn’t because it’s wholesome, so thank you I’m completely obsessed with the chair in the bathroom 😩🥰

the house is generally accurate, especially the entrance with the ivy and flowers over it which i find not only gorgeous but also quintessential to many old English farmhouses, however the wood upper half I have never seen on one, we never used wood or panelling (decking, panelling, idk what that would be called) on any houses because we always need loads of insulation, although recently there's been more in newbuilds. gorgeous build though, and captures a very good essence of the style you're going for while also adhering to the challenge!

For my gardening Sims, she got the Outdoors trait early in the game because she started with gardening outside. But then I moved all my plants inside a greenhouse. She got TENSE all the time-especially when I was making her go inside to take care of her needs! I put her activities outside under just a roof for protection, but apparently that’s didn’t count as being outside.

My mother just passed yesterday morning and I’ve been trying to find things to keep me from losing it at different times. I’m so glad to see Deli has posted! Her voice is calming. ❤️

Hehe James is gonna have some chaotic twist while deli is relaxing and all about the aesthetics. I love it lol

For real lettuce is so great because I never use an entire head of lettuce, and growing them and cutting some as needed both prevents the plant from bolting and I just take what I need! Also, I love this gameplay!

also deli flowers can go bad.. so make sure to quickly sell them so it’ll sell for money while they’re still super fresh!! the fresher they are the more money you can get.. love you deli ❤

As a Scot, the house is very British (looking much prettier though). The only thing I would change is putting the bay window in the front instead of the back as they are normally by the front door in most houses.

It feels so funny to me seeing Deli wearing Jacket while my skin is peeling because of sunburn 😂❤

For rebate day, a single item has to be over $500. For the indoorsy lifestyle, it's the flower arranging. I just got rid of it by purchasing the lifestyle go poof potions in the reward store. You have to do a lot of gardening, fertilizing bushes and sleeping in a tent in order to keep indoorsy from coming back.

I'm sure someone else probably said it, but for Rebate Day to count, you have to buy one item that costs at least 500 simoleons.

Hi 👋🏻 Deli! So happy to see more Tiny Town. It’s just such a cozy vibe. I’m glad Frank (my hubby’s name, short for Francisco) isn’t giving you trouble as some had reported in their game. He does seem like just an affable (friendly, pleasant, comfortable talker) old gent. I wanted an excuse to use the word affable today. 😁 I love his house. I know you needed something green on the exterior. I know nothing of architecture except that I love different, interesting looks. I don’t mind the wooden slats, but it seems folks in the comments said some kind of stone or brick was more in use than wood. There might still be some nice green swatches of stone or brick if you decide to change it. I’m also glad you put his dentures on the nightstand, as it just seems to go with him. I am unfortunately toothless myself, rather early, as I only turn 50 this year in August. But, dentures I received just weren’t very functional or comfortable, so I’d rather gum things. 😆 I love Frank with Agatha! They’re too cute together! It will be nice to get some friendly bunbuns 🐇, though they can sometimes be difficult to befriend. Patchy will be a big help, as well. Ohmuhgosh, I was soooo happy when you rearranged the garden plots! Whew 😅. Not me the entire video 👀 staring at that one plant halfway in & out of the greenhouse with a hyperventilating emoji in my head! I can’t wait till next episode when we make more monies to fill the house interior up even more. It will also be great to see James’s take on the challenge. I’m glad Bowser is doing better and will hopefully gain free reign to romp around the whole house soon as he’s healed up enough. My love to Frani, too, who is gobs bigger now!

Hey Deli! I'm playing Cypress right now and since I don't have Eco Living or any aspirations around woodworking, I gave him the Outdoor Retreat aspiration. I discovered that some of the herbal remedies you can make will sell at the selling tables for a good amount. That could be a good skill for season 2!

i think the tiny town finale should include a Frank and Agatha wedding.. Frank can make a homemade wedding bouquet too.. and then include all members of tiny town to be under one household

I finished my tiny town yesterday and was actually sad! It’s been my favorite challenge and the only one I’ve completed! I need a new tiny town. I’m looking forward to watching how James plays the challenge, should be interesting 😂

Hey, I'm from Oxfordshire in the UK (which is basically THE countryside of England haha!), It's the green slats (is that what they're called?) on the second storey that look less 'British' to me. If you're looking for countryside/cottage, they're mostly more of a beige stone. That's not to say I don't like the build, because I do :) I've really enjoyed this series, so thank you :)

out of all the different houses that have been put together I feel like I'd be most comfy living in either opals or franks, I tend to lean towards more vintage vibes, with decor in general, I do love beatrice's home aswell cuz similar vibe but i couldn't live in a pink house XD at least not with everything pink, maybe pink on the outside XD

You could leave the second chimney, I have seen old houses where the wood stove has been taken out and closed up same for fireplaces! They still have the chimney though

I think it's so fascinating how your December is summer whereas here in Canada it's our winter. And now it's summer for us Canadians and you are in winter. The world is so cool

Allergies suck. I have ibs, and been learning my triggers, I have multiple intolerances, and eczema, my eldest is allergic to some dogs, and has severe eczema and asthma, my middle child has bad hayfever and minor eczema, my youngest is allergic to mosquitoes (quite bad, will get massive welts if not managed properly) and potentially a shellfish allergy, we have an allergist appointment booked in for the end of the month to find out exactly what she’s allergic to.

I live in an apartment with a windowed in balcony. I currently have two buckets with gooseberry bushes out there. I also have a smallish hydroponics tray to grow kale and lettuce indoors. I would like one for peppers too. I appreciate your vlogs about your gardening stuff.

This challenge is incredible, Deli! I am offically going to start my own tiny town using Palia characters as my Sims! (Badruu = gardening, Jel = painting, Reth = baking, Tish = fabrication, etc.) I can't wait!

Im British and i love the house so far! Just a little tip, most British houses have a separate entryway that includes the stairs and that leads into the kitchen and living room if that makes sense :)

Buildings aren’t made out of wood in the UK because it’s too damp. They might have wooden cladding but the exterior build would not be wood, it would be brick, stone or concrete. That house looks American. An older English farmhouse would most likely be made from stone and it would have shorter windows. The Cottage Living pack build items would work well. 🤓🇬🇧

British viewer here!🌍 All Old British countryside houses are either stone or brick, maybe you could make the roof a slight green colour? maybe it will add to it looking like an old farmhouse/countryside style and blend it in with lots of decor around the house! loving the series!! xx

That moment when u start to play tiny town you get ziggy yarn for your first townie he is selling his cross stitches and making friends all the sudden an event pops up called cursed and as ziggy and his new friend are sitting on his blow up bed (cause he clearly has no house or anything electric yet since I just started) the bed randomly catches on fire and ziggy and the new friend pass away thankfully another friend begged to bring ziggy back lol never a dull moment on the sims!! 😂😂

Even though I know the basic science behind why it’s winter in the southern hemisphere when it’s summer up here in the northern hemisphere, it still trips me out a little bit every time you mention being in the opposite season to what I’m experiencing.

If you do start doing immunotherapy, good luck with it! I've done it for about 4 years and it's quite a commitment getting the shots every month if I remember. I would have pain in my arm for a day or so (the good news is: basically every shot you get after will be easy since the immunotherapy shots are quite heavy on the pain). Hope it will work better for you than it did for me, sadly enough it didn't get rid of my hay fever. But who knows, maybe it would have been way worse if I didn't have the immunotherapy!
