Romance On The Range starring Roy Rogers, Gabby Hayes, The Sons of the Pioneers, Linda Hayes and of course Trigger. This is another complete classic full length western film released and uploaded from the www.westernsontheweb.com archives. In this feature production Roy, Gabby and The Sons of the Pioneers all work on a ranch. Roy is the foreman. Gabby is the cook and The Sons of the Pioneers are the ranch hands. There are also some great badges in this action packed presentation, including Glenn Strange and Roy Bancroft. There are outlaws stealing out of the traps set by the ranch and Roy is out to stop the thievery. Ranch owner Joan Stuart lives in the east but comes west to investigate the trouble but does not reveal her identity. There is some great adventure, music and some very funny comedy in this production. Will Roy apprehend the murderous gang? Or will the villains finish their evil deeds and escape? GOOF: at about 6:15. the trap line raiders head for Steve's cabin. From the outside, the last horse in is a pack horse, while from inside the last one coming in has a rider. *Did they lose a pack horse while moving 20 feet forward?

This is different than most prints I've seen. The opening scenes are at night and are dark; most prints look like they were shot at Noon.
