So many unnecessarily negative comments on this video. This was one of three trials. They had the OMV Petrum Cup which was a competition and the RomGym Trophy and there were spectators there. This trials was added in at the last minute as a chance for some gymnasts who are recovering from injury (Amalia, Mara) to have another chance at displaying their routines. This is the best Romanian team they’ve had in years. Why? Bc they literally qualified to the Olympics at 2023 worlds with only 16 and 17 year olds on their team. Stop hating on these girls, they’ve done way more in the sport as young teenagers than any other Romanian team since 2014 has.

Comments about the place being empty….its not the USA. Other countries have very small or minimal venues and small crowds. Not unusual.

A lot of people in these comments clearly don’t no how long it takes to build one of the worlds best gymnastics teams.

Why are all the remarks so hateful saying they aren't good at gymnastics?? They look really good. Not good enough to beat the US team but still good!😊

This representation is not a full one of the Romanian gymnastic team. This trial event did not include all gymnasts on every apparatus. They have a very good standard team. You will see this at Olympics. Ana, Sabrina, Lilia, Amalia G and Andrea. Preda has a brilliant beam mount. Hai Romania! 🎉

This is a little concerning however a couple of their best gymnasts, who are capable of 13’s on all events, didn’t do their usual here. Also, Sabrina Voinea, who can be a legitimate medal contender on beam and floor, did not compete vault or floor. I mean, this team was fourth at 2024 Europeans. They’ll have to do a heck of a lot better than this, though.

What in the world is going on here? These girls do not seem Olympic ready at all. What happened to Romanian gymnast? They used to be flawless and so beautiful to watch. As I’m writing this I saw Sabrina on beam and she seems very good. I’m sad to see them like this 😔

It’s as if Romania forgot how to do gymnastics

This is not Romania which am looking for to copete for medals in Paris. I don't hate Romania but I hate the level they droped to. Hope they recover soon.

I am not sure, I am an ex gymnast, but this team don't look ready for the Olympics. And yest please don't send hate messages,, gymnastic is a very demanding and hard sport, and sadly no one wants to sacrifices anymore without benefits. The Government should incentive these athletes if they wants medals again.

Why are there no spectators? Is it closed to the public? Seems like they’d want an atmosphere more like a big competition where there’d be a lot of spectators to be more ready for the Olympics. Bars….idk. Happy to see them though.

Ana’s bars actually looked really good. I’m surprised she only got like a 7.3E score. I would’ve expected at least a 7.8

This was an interesting video to watch. I'm so used to seeing the height US gymnasts get on the vault that these vaults surprised me. Also, are those uneven bars at regulation? They seem shorter. Good luck to these gymnasts! I'm sure they have worked hard. I was lucky enough to attend a fancy private high school (on financial aid and scholarships) that was seemingly a world away from the experience of the public high schools in my area. I was on the volleyball team and we dominated every single event. It was explained to us that not everyone had the same resources. We had a huge fancy gym and coaches and the time to practice and 1:1 time. Because of this, we could politely clap for ourselves when we won, but outrageous displays of screaming for ourselves and carrying on were hugely frowned upon and even disciplined. Im reminded of this now. The US has so much money, corporate sponsorship, etc etc thats it's no wonder our athletes have the opportunity to excel in the ways that they do.

Well these girls are talented. They just need to clean up a few things. Stay more focused and well......anyway. Good Luck Romania and keep it clean. I see a lot of extra fluff stuff that's not necessary on beam and keep working on skills and always do basics (drills) to keep you more polished. Onto watching floor.

Ok so I have watched floor and some of the choreography is nice to ok and some of it is ehh. I don't want to seem like a downer. I really don't. I have watched gymnastics on tv since the 70's. all the way til now. I have taught rec and competitive gymnastics. I maybe old school, and I do like fun and fancy or modern dance, whatever. But some, I don't think it looks good. It doesn't flow good with them and the style. Maybe the music to. The attempt is noted. First gymnast on floor needs to fix her wolf turn and pike jump. Second floor the pike jump again. I actually liked that routine. Pretty. Third routine-Wolf turn for sure needs a clean up and as for the rest of the choreography, I'll just move on to the fourth routine. The 4th. routine was really nice. I thought of Grace McCallum while watching it. Very beautiful. I think overall even with the rest that I seen. Just more confidence in skills and tumbling well the coaches need to help with that.
