Faith without works is dead, don’t forget that. Definitely don’t be too harsh on yourself, but try your best everyday to strengthen your personal, and intimate relationship with God. Align yourself with his will, obey his commands, spend time in prayer, and familiarize yourself, and mediate in his word. God bless.

We can never earn what God gave us

‭Ephesians 2:8-9 NIVUK‬ [8] For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - [9] not by works, so that no-one can boast.

We don’t work for salvation, God has completed what was required, and has fully satisfied the wrath of God to those who believe. Instead we work and do what is asked and commanded from gratitude and from love to glorify God and to “let our light shine before men so they may glorify our Father in heaven” We are the salt of the earth and meant to be different, but that doesn’t make you any more or less saved. Do what is Good, but trust that Christ is our Lord and He was, is, and always will be enough for us.
