Today we continue to consider how Israel's hardening and redemption in the first century correlate to Daniel's prophecy and Jesus' prediction of the fall of Jerusalem.

@@alexisbonilla5942 That is so inconsistent. God's new covenant lasts forever whereas the one in Daniel 9:27 is only for one week or 7 years. A new covenant that lasts forever and another one that is for 7 years are not the same. Are you just gonna pretend you don’t see this huge difference?

Why are you blaming darby or scofield? The plain statements of scripture demand a future restoration for Israel. If you don’t accept it then you’re being dishonest. You are making an ad hominem when you blame darby for it. He has nothing to do here.

Folks, What we're seeing here is a good lesson in eisegesis, ie, reading into Scripture what isn't there. Let's dissect this: Notice how he sets this up: He rightly acknowledges Herod's Temple will be destroyed. Then he says that this is what Daniel 9:27 was talking about. This is the beginning of the preterist presupposition. Somehow the future has to be shoehorned into the past, to make it work. He then tries to get you to buy into the notion that it will be Jesus who comes and destroys Herod's Temple. There is Zero mention of this in Scripture. Josephus and history verifies that it was the Roman Legions that did this. Jesus did not come then, period! He alludes to the word "coming", in Mat 24:3 as though it refers to 70 AD. Moving up a few verses we see the the description of Jesus' coming:Mat 24:30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. None of this ever happened in 70 AD, Zero. I agree as he points out that the 70th week is a ball of confusion among Dispensationalists. Amazingly he suddenly declares that the 490 years doesn't mean 490 years. He adds to the confusion by saying numbers are symbolic. Suddenly he concludes the Millennium isn't a literal 1000 years because Satan is described as a dragon in Revelation, yet he agrees that Jeremiah's 70 years are literal even though Jer 4:7 talks about a lion being a destroyer of nations. He is cherry picking his verses. It is also stated that the 70 weeks are continuous, with no parenthesis after 69 weeks. That means the temple would have been destroyed circa. 37 AD, a huge problem for Doug's narrative. I'm not discounting his teaching, most of it is insightful. Nonetheless, we must be like the Bereans, Act 17:11

You Preterist always use allegoric spiritual meaning to make your false doctrines work. I'm writing a book "The Midst of the Week" soon to be published. I don't think anyone would have a problem determining which people the angel was referring to or which city he had in mind, yet your suggesting Jesus may be the prince and His people are the Romans? Its the people of the prince who destroy the city and the temple. The focus in the sentence is on the people not the prince. Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;...?? My understanding is this would be the antichrist descended out of the same peoples. What is your explanation of this covenant for the remaining seven years? I get the reluctance to a two thousand year gap but Paul tells us "For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own [f]opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And so all Israel will be [g]saved, as it is written"... God is omniscient. He knows everything. He prepared a body for His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to come and feel in the flesh, all what man is going through, while He Himself remains sinless, meaning, He doesn't indulge in sin. So, He eventually was condemned as a sinner- study Mark 14:51, the story of the naked young man. That was the reason Jesus's sweat were like drops of blood, when He got to the last sin He had to deal with that would condemn Him to shame, torture and consequently, a cursed death on the cross- simply because He was set up in the middle of the night, as He prayed, in the garden of Gethsemane, to be doing stuff the laws condemned with penalty of death, by stoning, but was cranked up to become dead on the cross. Judas kissed him, not a peck in the cheek but a full blown kiss, in order to set him up, but he didn't know his act was just a distraction, the people that hired him, already prepared a worse scenario- using the young guy that fled into the night naked. Mark 14:51-52. Jesus Christ refused to tattle on him, nor did he ask them to go get him to speak for him, because He came for the very reason, to die for the undeserved, who, if and when they come to this realization, would immediately repent and accept the cleansing power of the blood that bought them. He even became their high Priest, who is touched by the feeling of their infirmity, understanding where they come from, but hoping they will come to Him and cast it all on Him, and take His Rest! He already made that call!!! Will you answer, will you imagine what they must have done to him, with such a charge, in that day and age? All just to make atonement for every sin conceivable, including what you're struggling with at this moment! Give it all to Him! Being mad at the preacher will not assuage your guilt and self- condemnation, and self torture and self hatred and self judgment. He already did it all- for YOU!!! Which of these religious leaders who abbet them ever promised to pray to God for them. How can the blind lead the blind? Anyone that has encountered God by the preaching of the gospel of salvation by grace through faith in the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and still remain unconcerned and unrepentant, has already forfeited his mercy, and grace that bought him from the devil, who has the power of sickness, afflictions, terror, oppression, death and the grave. No escaping him. Let the love of God for you, in Christ Jesus, constrain you to listen, receive, accept, confess, believe and abide in His love, justification from all your sins, past, present and future, And live the new life purchased by the shedding of His blood, and by imputting God's righteousness that declared you "faultless, blameless ", before the presence of God, with whom you have to give an account, whether you like it or not! No excuses on that day, for God will definitely be Just and Righteous when He metes out judgment, and all mouths will be quiet!

This was good! Thank you for your teaching! I can relate to you trying to share with others that the man-made "gap" "stopped time" theory is completly unbiblical. This is the 70th 7: 3.5 years John the Baptist was preparing the way of the LORD (Mal 4:5-6) + 3.5 years for Jesus Christ (Matt 17:9-13) equals 7 years, the Messiah was cut off at the end of 70th 7 as GOD DETERMINED. Not a year early, not a year later. GODs numbers are exact. GOD wants us to have skill to follow the Biblical recorded dates and understand his 490 years pattern for Isreal starting with 1510 BC, the year of the Exodus. Daniel 9 is the only chapter in the entire Bible that reveals the formula to calulate the exact year of the coming Messiah, its pretty incredible! I look forward to watching more of your videos!

@@newroman116 The 70th week started with the baptism (anointing with the Holy Spirit) of Jesus. Not the ministry of John the Baptist (which was only half a year). After 3,5 years Jesus died on the cross, bringing everlasting righteousness and put an end to sacrifice (ripping of the veil). The ‘week’ continued for 3,5 years were the Gospel was ONLY. preached to the Jews (confirming the covenant between God and His people). With the stoning of Stephan this period ended. The persecution scattered the church, bringing the Gospel to Samaria (Acts 8) and Damascus (Acts 9). In Acts 9 Philip was sent to preach the Gospel to an Ethiopian man. And in Acts 10 Peter is sent to Cornelius. The Kingdom was taken away and given to others.

@@Lena.9 hi Lena. Thank you for your response. I understand your view on the 70th week. Although, I think it is implausible because the strength of “confirming a covenant with many for a year” does not fit with what I read in Gods word. Jesus death brining an end to sacrifice seems plausible but then the bookends either side of that to complete the seventh year seems contrived. Don’t you feel that as well? My spirit questions it’s logic. The only biblical indication of Jesus making any such a new covenant was when Jesus confirmed a New covenant in his blood at the last supper and that was a couple of days before his crucifixion. So it also does not work well in terms of the Daniel prophesy. So my search continues as I myself do not have a specific answer but rather more questions. Thank you for chatting with me. Blessings.

God bless you brother for being able to teach the truth about Daniel 9:27 because about 99 percent of preachers are teaching that this is some Antichrist in the future to sign a peace treaty with Israel but this was Jesus who confirmed the New Covenant. When the scripture says and " He shall confirm the covenant with many Its actually referring to Yahweh God because most preachers go through this chapter to fast and totally ignore what verse 12 says. Daniel 9:10-13 10 Neither have we obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets. 11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him. 12 And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem. 13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. It was God who first instructed Moses to write his Laws in a book and Daniel is praying that they transgressed Gods law so verse 12 is specifically showing us that the He its referring to is God because after Jesus died on the cross after 3 days God raised Jesus from the dead and after Jesus gave up the ghost it was God who caused the Earth Quake in Jerusalem and the rocks did rent and the veil of the temple was rent into from top to bottom signifying no more blood offerings and sacrifices and the Bible says after Jesus arose from the dead the graves opened up and those that were asleep in Jesus went into the holy city and appeared before many and after Jesus ascended back to the Father he sent the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost which fulfilled the 70th week prophecy God’s promise to Israel. Amen 🙏!

Look at what the scriptures say in 2 Peter 3:9 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. @@Charles73358 in Daniel 9:23, the angel said that Daniel's prayers were heard and he came to let him know. In vv. 24,25 he elaborates the vision to Daniel: 7 weeks+ 62 weeks. From the initial command to rebuild and restore Jerusalem until it's completion was 49 years (the first 7 weeks). During the 62 weeks was a turbulent time (the Maccabean period and the years of silence) where God didn't give open revelation through His prophets. Then along came John the Baptist proclaiming to the nation to prepare for Messiah. He spoke of Jesus (that he saw the Holy Spirit descend on Him at His baptism). After the 62-week period, Messiah was rejected and cut off, but not for Himself. Then the destruction of the temple is foretold prior to the final week.

So, he said Jesus fulfilled the 70th week, and Jerusalem was destroyed afterwards. He didn't have time for more details. If you look earlier in Dan 9, Gabriel interrupts Daniel's prayer, saying he will now explain the previous vision...., in Dan 8. The only proper meaning of this is that these 70 weeks are "cut off" for the Jewish people from the 2300 symbolic days of Dan 8:14. With the 70 weeks sorted, the rest of the 2300 literal years point us to what God has in mind for cleansing the heavenly sanctuary by Jesus' intercession for us there. The timing is only recently pinpointed. There's no secret or visible rapture, but a drawing nearer to Jesus, instead. Until the Reformation let men think and study the Bible again, such consecration of soul and spirit was not understood: today, conversely, many Christian leaders object to such holiness of life, thinking it beyond human attainment. They forget God specializes in the impossible. Yes, Methodism first suggested the need for practical holiness of the faith life, and Methodists were the majority of the first generation of those founding the Seventh-day Adventist movement. These are they who accept these 2300 years point us to Jesus in heaven, today, where he awaits any who will look to him there and follow where he leads to, becoming so like him that he has to fetch them home, his exact purpose, amen, glory, hallelujah.

I have been studying this myself too, and you bring up a Good Point. Where are we now. I suspect that (due to Rom. 11:25-26) Jesus and His Disciples finished about 3.4 years of the last half of that 70th Week. All we have left is 45 days After the antichrist is revealed to the Rapture (or end of the world). This is from Daniel 12:11-12; Isa. 26:20-21; and Rev, 17:13-15. I also think that the mark will be required (to purchase) shortly after the man of sin is revealed --- as we are told in Rev 13:16-17 and other places.

A few centuries ago, 2 false prophets were sent out to deceive and redirect biblical teachings to run cover for _a certain church denomination_ . One of these false teachings included the Futurism theory that the 70th week of Daniel was never completed. The 70th week *was* completed : Jesus was crucified mid-week which _signified the end of that age_ and the _stoning of Steven_ completed the 70th week. Daniel 9:24 has absolutely nothing to do with the Gentiles. The reason this is hard to believe is that we have been taught otherwise _for so long_ . This also flips the teaching of dispensationalism on it’s head, because it affects the “Rapture”, “7 years of Tribulation”, and certain (but maybe not all) Premillennialism Futurist teachings along with the teaching of a future literal Israel being somehow involved in end times prophecy. When this all hit me, I felt very disturbed but at the same time I felt a calmness in knowing the truth. We are being lied to by most Protestant teachings and they are, intentionally or unintentionally, running cover for and protecting a _certain church denomination_ . And now they can’t reverse or change their teachings because then too many people would become very suspicious.

It appears that there are two events linked to the command that allows the rebuilding of the temple/city and the Messiah. So, it could be that the first 7 Weeks are to the designated the rebuilding of the temple and city and the 62 Weeks gets us from there to the Messiah timeline. From here you descend into the bottomless pit of Biblical and Secular histories and chronologies, none of which agree which is why there are so many books on the subject with everyone slagging off everybody else's work. For example, virtually every 70 Week "expert" who selects a certain command/edict/proclamation that permits the Jews to do something completely ignores Isaiah 44:28 where the prophesied Cyrus allows BOTH the temple and city to be rebuilt. They ignore it because it becomes "inconvenient" in reconciling their timelines just as they ignore Josephus's inclusion of what he has as that proclamation of Cyrus which is a lengthier proclamation than what's in scripture. It's a bigger mess than anyone seems to be willing to admit.

Let me answer in a more direct way. You asked, "What is the significance of the first 7 weeks? Did something significant happen?" The short answer is, "No." If you start at a chronologist's Date of Commandment (There are 3 possibles) and subtract 49 (7 x 7) from the BC date, you wind up nowhere near anything of importance regarding the building of either the temple or the city. I have one chronology (Daniel Gregg's) that starts the 49 Year Period at 445 BC with the Commandment of Nehemiah (Neh 2:1) which terminates at Ezra's in the beginning of Ezra's Administration in 398 BC, making Ezra a 'Messiah' or 'Appointed Ruler' which, in my opinion, is a bit of a stretch.

They continued in their rebellion towards God, and God rejected them Jeremiah 12:7, and vowed to scatter them all around the world. Deuteronomy 32:26; Jeremiah 9:16-24. The Messiah came, and they rejected and killed Him. The period of grace sets in where whosoever, both Jews and Gentiles, "the Acceptable year of the Lord ", already concluded in sin and short of God's glory will be saved, taken out of the world before the last 70th year, when God will pour out His wrath on the whole world. "The year of vengeance of our God " (as the book, which was shut becomes open - Daniel 12:4; Revelation 5; Isaiah 61:2; Luke 4:17-20. They made good their threat and returned to Egypt. Jeremiah chapters 41-44. ( This tried to nullify God's word, "Out of Egypt have I called my Son," but was finally fulfilled in Jesus Matthew 2. Thus, all Israel must be baptized into Him, as they had been to Moses, hence, the advent of John the Baptist. Jesus' baptism already took care of all who would simply believe in Him as Lord and Savior, in His sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection). Luke 21:36- Believers must now pray to be counted worthy of escaping God's wrath - the tribulation period, which culminates in the battle of Armageddon. Then the millennium reign of Christ, after which the whole world system will be judged and condemned, and believers justified and rewarded as the new heavens and new earth unfolds. So, the 70th week year would be the time of tribulation for Israel and the world. Israel still needs to return to the promised land for the next Exodus- this time, out of the nation's, and back to Israel. Jerusalem is still being trodden by the gentiles. The new Jerusalem will be pure and holy, coming down from heaven, and only the Righteous will be found in it. Revelation chapters 21-22.

Thank you Mr Doug, I also have another view about the people of the Prince, when we read the abomination that causes desolation it seems that its is the abomination(great sin) that the Jews will commit that will bring about the destruction of the temple just as it was at the first destruction of the first temple by Nebuchadnezzar, what if the people of the Prince would be Jesus' people who will lead to their own desolation when they rejected their Prince of life, refused to surrender to the Roman army under Titus, and led to their own destruction and the city and the temple? Just please can you correct me if I am wrong about that?

Excellent logic 😎👊. 457 BC the 2nd decree of Artaxerxes 🤔… It’s one of the reasons that the book of Ester was in the Protestant bibles🙂. I think it’s more precise than most people think. Josephus did call Yeshua the Christ and testified of His following and miracles 🙂.

Doug, I’m tracking with what you’re saying. My statement/question in the chat was surrounding if there was any implications or complications if one believed the “prince” Daniel referred to was not Messiah. The previos verse calls out Messiah then Daniel speaks of the prince and his people in the very next verse. I read that as two separate people. Either way the temple and Jerusalem were destroyed in 70AD. You asked me to prove it but we literally have two verses to look at. Either position is just speculation/opinions.

I hear you. My response came out stronger than it needed to be, I apologize. If the second "prince" is not Messiah, I would think it would be the prince of the people who were going to destroy Jerusalem, which would make it the Roman general, Titus.

The first "Prince" is capitalized. That is Jesus Christ. Notice the second "prince" is in lowercase. That tells me that the second reference to a "prince" is NOT Jesus. Anytime Jesus is referred to in scripture, the name he is given is capitalized. Ex..: The Anointed One, Messiah, Christ, ect... I would sooner believe the second "prince" referenced would be Titus.

How come you say you don’t believe it’s meant to be fulfilled in the Jews when right here in the text it clearly says it’s meant for the Jews?? It stuns me when i hear people say the exact opposite of what the Bible clearly says. The 70 weeks prophesy is determined for ISRAEL. You’re teaching the heresy of REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY. The 70 weeks are determined for YOUR PEOPLE( ISRAEL) and YOUR HOLY CITY (JERUSALEM) Dan 9:24. We know Daniel's people is ISRAEL. (Dan 9:20). It's NOT meant for the Church. if it all ended I might ask where is the fulfillment of the prophesy? The fulfillment of the prophesy involves: 1. Finishing the transgression 2. Make end of sin 3. make reconciliation for iniquity 4. Bring everlasting righteousness (everlasting righteousness for the Jews) 5. seal up prophesy and vision 6. Anoint the most holy. So, when did these things happen? Again, This prophesy was given to the nation of ISRAEL and it does not apply in any way to the church. That means that by the end of the 70 week prophesy all of these 6 purposes have to be fulfilled in the Jews. Jesus only provided for it on the cross but he didn't fulfill it because this is for Daniel's people (Dan 9:20 -24) and Israel is in spiritual blindness partially now and will continue to do so until God's done dealing with gentiles. Rom 11:25 -36. The 70th week is still future. The prince to come who's armies destroyed Jerusalem is the antichrist. Titus was part of the army because he never made a covenant with many for 7 years. He didn't stop the sacrifice. It's the prince of the Romans who will do that. Which is the antichrist. You can't say Jesus is the one who confirms the covenant with many for one week because his covenant is FOREVER. It's not meant for 7 years. It also mentions the abomination of desolation that Jesus quoted in matt 24:15. It's the statue of the antichrist in the temple. None of this happened back in Jesus's days. This whole prophesy is entirely Jewish. You can't prove it's all fulfilled because Israel is not restored yet. We should see their restoration when it's all fulfilled. I know you can't prove it. Daniel wanted the restoration of his people, so he prayed for it. He confessed their sin and wanted God to forgive them. Read daniel 9: 1-23 and see for yourself. So then God sends his angel to give the 70 weeks prophesy as an answer to Daniel's prayer. It was appointed to Daniel's people and his holy city, therefore it fulfills in them. Otherwise God would be a liar. You are forcing replacement theology. You can't and won't be able to prove it's been fulfilled until Christ's second coming.

I want to argue that the "people of the prince that shall come"(v26) is still the same prince coming in v25, the Messiah Prince Jesus. That makes the "people of the prince" the Jews of Jesus generation("this generation"). I think this view is most agreeable with scripture & history. I will give an argument from scripture & Josephus historical account. Scripture arguement that the Jews are the people of the prince that will come, and they destroy their own city & sanctuary due to their rejection & crucifixion of their Messiah: John 1:11 KJV He came unto his own, and his own received him not. John 2:19-21 KJV Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. [20] Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? [21] But he spake of the temple of his body. Matthew 23:33-38 KJV Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? [34] Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: [35] That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. [36] Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. [37] O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! [38] Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. Matthew 27:24-25 KJV When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. [25] Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children. Luke 19:41-44 KJV And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, [42] Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. [43] For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, [44] And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. Acts 2:36-40 KJV Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. [37] Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? [38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. [39] For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. [40] And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.(or wicked generation) Hebrews 12:25-29 KJV See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: [26] Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. [27] And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. [28] Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire. "This Generation" - Matt11:26, 12:39-42,45, 22:7, 23:35-36, 24:34 Mark8:12,38, 13:30 Luke7:31, 11:29-32,50-51, 17:25, 19:41-44, 21:22, 23:26-30 Destroy Temple: Matt26:60-61, 27:40 Mark14:58, 15:29-32 John2:19-21 Historical argument: the Jews(this generation) destroyed their own city & Temple due to their rebellion against Rome. Daniel's 70/7's The people of the prince to come are the Jews. Same prince = Messiah Prince Same people = Jews(Jn1:11) The Jews destroyed their own city and sanctuary. Josephus - Wars of the Jews - Speech by Titus, "It was unwillingly that I brought my engines of war against your walls...When I came near your temple, I again departed from the laws of war, and exhorted you to spare your own sanctuary, and to preserve your holy house yourselves...yet have you still despised my proposals, and have now set fire to your holy house with your own hands. To what purpose is it that you would save such a holy house as this was, which is now destroyed? What preservation can you now desire after destruction of your temple?" book VI chapter 6 section 3. "The entire nation was now shut up by fate as a prison, and the Roman army encompassed the city when it was crowded with inhabitants(Passover). Accordingly, the multitude of those that therein perished exceeded all the destructions that either men or God ever brought upon the world(1.1 million killed, 90,000 captive)." book VI chapter 9 sections 3&4. That these seditious Jews were the direct occasions of their own destruction, and of the conflagration of their city and temple, and that Titus earnestly and constantly labored to save both, is here and every where most evident in Josephus. book VI chapter 10 endnotes 11. The Destruction of Jerusalem

@Dave definitely interesting sharing those verses! I've been studying the 70 7's timeline for awhile now. I keep going back and forth with who is the "prince" and who are the "people of the prince". Do you happen to have thoughts on who is the "vile person", the "prince of the covenant" in Daniel 11:21-23? Could it relate to the prince spoken of in Dan 9:26-27? Daniel 11:21 KJV - And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. Daniel 11:22 KJV - And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant. Daniel 11:23 KJV - And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

@MaryMartinez-lm5tv 1-10th commandments- Jesus Christ already paid the wages of them all. He works in His people, both to will and to do, of His great pleasure! We are filled with and led by the Holy Spirit. Believers are saved by grace through faith in the sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Anyone living outside of this grace is rejecting the provision of God to save their souls. That's why those who observe the law in this grace dispensation, watch each other's steps to show who is more obedient and deserving of promotion. They're all turning their backs on the only One who saved them. So, where you see some breaking the 1st commandment and using icons and the cross as a symbol of their faith, to those who observe sabbaths etc., are out of the fold of Christ, thus, they're not under the wings of grace of the Holy Spirit, who will gather all Believers to meet Christ at His appearing, and place them in their respective places as members in particular of the body of Christ, who is the Head. There's still time, don't miss it. Be encouraged!

@MaryMartinez-lm5tv SABBATH AND FEASTS DAYS OBSERVANCE: God had to get up from His Rest, after CREATION, to begin the work of SALVATION. He had to kill an animal, and that is working! Romans 15:8; 9:4-5; John 5:17-18; 19:30; Colossians 2; Hebrews chapters 3 and 4; Galatians 2:7; Ephesians 3:2; Colossians 1:25-26; 1 Corinthians 15; Amos 5:20-24; Luke 1:67-72. They had to preach on those days because those were the days that they could meet with the people. Jesus Christ worked on the sabbath days and that was one of the reasons why He was persecuted and crucified, by overzealous priests and scribes, who not only studied the Torah, but also taught it daily in the temple and on all feast days, but they were the ones that set a trap with the naked young man Mark 14:51-52, to ensnare and crucify Him. The Apostles were told to preach only to the Jews, Matthew 10:5, if they accepted His Lordship, otherwise, if he had to die, then this will bring everyone that wills, to Him John 12:32. Then He gave them a new order Matthew 28:18-20. Jesus Christ became the SABBATH for His people who now must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, John 4:24. Believers are led by the Spirit, He now lives inside of them, fellowshiping with them, leading them, interceding for them with the Father. As long as they're 2 or 3 in the NAME of. Jesus Christ, He is there in the midst of them, as their Emmanuel! Thus, it doesn't matter who established any days, they have no authority from the risen Lord. So, God Himself is looking for those who would simply believe in the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior. The Apostle Paul even disputed with those who were making new Believers to obey the law! This teaching is not of the Lord. Let God be True! I'm very sure none of you do speak in tongues, for that, you need to ask for daily infilling and leading, and trusting Him to speak to the Lord on your behalf- you have human elders and who not, for that. No Holy Spirit, no Jesus Christ John 14:26; Romans 8:9; Acts 1:8. No one can observe any of the laws, and still honor God in Christ Jesus, by the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:4 (Galatians chapters 1-5, 2 Corinthians chapters 2-3). No grace, no hope of redemption at His return for His purchased possession. Think! (Those who are celebrating feast days, especiallygood Fridays to Easter days, are bringing to remembrance His cruel death burial and resurrection, to mind, yearly. He is not sitted in heavenly places for them). Hebrews 9:12. That is not the Jesus of the Scriptures!

@MaryMartinez-lm5tv Jesus Christ is the Sabbath, or Rest of Believers. The sabbath law is only between God and His people Israel. Just like you wrote, God isn't even accepting any of their feast days at this time. All these have been done away with at the cross. God indeed rested at the 7th day after the work of Creation, but He had to get up from His Sabbath rest to begin the work of Salvation, working till Christ came and He continued to do the work, in Christ until the cross, where it was accomplished and finished John 5:17; 19:30. Jesus Christ got up again in Acts 7, to continue the work of avenging His Saints, when He acknowledged and received Stephen at his stoning. This ended the gospel of the kingdom, for the Jews and ushered in the gospel of salvation by grace, through faith in the sacrificial death burial and resurrection of Jesus, for both Jews and gentiles, there's no difference in Christ. Thus was concluded by the vision John received in Revelation chapters 1-4, for the Churches, and Daniel got raised up from His rest Daniel 12:13; Revelation 5, to continue the prophecy concerning Israel and the end of the world system, which ends in the marriage supper of the Lamb, and subsequent casting of satan and his accomplices into the lake of fire and brimstone. Revelation 2q; Isaiah 66:24. The new heaven and earth, and the new Jerusalem- brought down from heaven, will not be defiled as the old had been. Sabbath observations will return when God returns into the midst of His people, as He had purposed before time- as Emmanuel! Isaiah 66:23; 2:2-4; Revelation 21:24.

The Messiah was crucified in 30ad and the day of Pentecost fulfilled the 70th week prophecy in 33ad. From 458bc when Ezra left Babylon to return to Jerusalem was the starting point of God’s count down to the 70th week because Ezra was sent to put God's law in place because there were still many Jews married to strange women and relationships with foreign women and Ezra placed God’s law back within the land of Israel. The Bible says to seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all those other things shall be added unto you. God's law served precedence over the city being built again and the temple and the Walls rebuilt and as they were attempting to rebuild the Temple there were interruptions According to Ezra 4:5, the Samaritans sought to "frustrate their purpose" and sent messengers to Ecbatana and Susa, with the result that the work was suspended. Seven years later, Cyrus the Great, who allowed the Jews to return to their homeland and rebuild the Temple, died, and was succeeded by his son Cambyses. God moves king Artaxerxes to commission Ezra the priest and scribe to return to Jerusalem and teach the laws of God to any who do not know them. Ezra leads a large body of exiles back to the holy city, where he discovers that Jewish men have been marrying non-Jewish women. This occurred in 458bc so from 458bc to 30ad is 487 years Jesus was crucified in the middle of the 70th week which left 3 1/2 years that remained you take 6 months from the 487 years which left 3 1/2 years left until the day of Pentecost in 33ad a total of 490 years from the year Ezra left Babylon Amen 🙏!

@@Charles73358 Odd that Ezra never repaired the streets and walls which is the identification for which decree to begin the count. My bible says 483 years to Messiah cut off not baptized and my YHWH could and would of said 7 weeks and 62 weeks and one half week to Messiah cut off. 458 bc to 30 ad is 486 years not 483. @rickhuntling7338 I did not say that 458bc to 30ad was 486 years its 487 years you take 6 months from the 487 years which leaves 486 1/2 years that was fulfilled in the middle of the 70th week which left 3 1/2 years that remained in the prophecy The Outpouring of the Holy Spirit (Pentecost; May 25th, A.D. 33 ): The Jewish festival of Pentecost (50 days after the festival of the Passover) is also know as Shavuot or the Festival of Weeks and it is one of the 3 mandatory Festivals of Pilgrimage for Jews, which required all the pious Jews living outside of the city of Jerusalem to travel to the temple in Jerusalem to observe the festival. Shavuot has a double significance for Jews. It marks the celebration for all-important wheat harvest in the Land of Israel(Exodus 34:22), to give thanks to God for the divinely granted providence of God for the sustenance to the people of Israel; and it also commemorates the anniversary of the day that God gave the Torah, i.e., the Law of Moses (the stone tablets of the Ten Commandments) to the nation of Israel who were assembled at Mount Sinai. The Torah is the providence of divine justice given to His people. Despite modern self centeredness and narcissistic, of the ruggedly individualistic ears which hear “the law” as God’s shackles upon the people, in fact in a lawful and obedient society “the law” is the divinely providential safe protective boundary for the people. Therefor Shavuot is the people of God thanking God for His providential protection of them. Shavuot occurs 50 days after the Festival of the Passover. Ten days earlier, on May the 15th in A.D. 33 the Ascension of Christ, God’s Messiah to the right hand of the Father in heaven, had occurred, 40 days after His Resurrection from His saving and restorative death on the cross by which Jesus the Christ atoned for the sins of mankind and restored His fallen creation; He “trampled on death with death!”. Ascension Thursday is 10 days prior to Pentecost (counting inclusively). On Pentecost in A.D. 33, God’s Holy Spirit descended on the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ(Luke 22:12-13 & the Acts of the Apostles 2:1-31 ), and they became empowered by God’s Holy Spirit and they spoke in languages, which they did not know, in order to tell the many Jews and foreigners present in Jerusalem for the festival, that God’s promised Messiah had indeed come and that the kingdom of God was at hand. The rebuilding of the Temple and the Walls of Jerusalem served no precedence over God's law and Ezra was sent to put God's law in place because there were still many Jews married to strange and foreign women God's law comes first seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all those other things shall be added unto you so 458bc was the starting point for God's count down to the 70th week prophecy

On the cross Jesus said, "It is finished." He was quoting Daniel 9 and the veil in the temple was torn in two and then Pentecost came and the Holy Spirit moved from the old cold stone Temple into the new temple which is the Body of Christ. Then forty years later the Roman army tore the whole old obsolete thing down. It was in fact finished, by the will and hand of God.

I think you’re on the right track. I believe that count started a second time in 1535 by Ottomans. Jerusalem was united with Israel just before the end of 62 weeks. 7 weeks later, or at the 69th week, we had that great sign in Rev 12 depicting the human birth of Jesus. Coincidentally, America pitched its tent in Jerusalem and the very next verse Michael stands up. Both Rev and Daniel agree the white horse is here now according to the timeline. Jesus is the prince who is to come and his church created the AoD teaching a false image of Jesus being god. Rev is the end of the church age. He will disown the rapture hunting evangelicals. Just as he predicted, the first shall come in dead last.

Amen, brother!!! Messiah came in 70 AD to DESOLATE Jerusalem, the temple and the leadership through the Romans. This was the end of the physical nation of Israel. Now, only those in Christ are spiritual born-again Israel; and we are looking for the New Jerusalem coming out of heaven wherein dwelleth righteousness. The Jesuit-contrived Futurism lie has been so very successful. Russian Ashkenazi Khazar Gog and Magog synagogue of Satan "Jews" invaded Palestine in 1948, fulfilling Ezekiel's prophecy. The 70th week of Daniel 9 was fulfilled by Messiah in His 3 1/2 year ministry and died on the cross in the middle, and the early church fulfilled the last 3 1/2 years up to when Stephen was martyred, then the Gospel was preached to the gentiles; the Olivet Discourse was fulfilled in the first century; most of Revelation has been fulfilled over the last 1,900 years. It looks like the 7th bowl may have started and we are all being pushed into the Jesuit Luciferin NWO, which will be headquartered in Jerusalem. The Roman Catholic Church is the sea beast with antichrist beast Popes. The mark of the beast is on Roman Catholics as they revere (forehead) and obey (right hand) the Pope (OT symbolism). You are correct about the 70th week being past, and about Titus being the prince who would come. Jesus went about preaching the "time is fulfilled", and said he would desolate the House of Israel for not knowing the "time of their visitation" (Luke 19:44). What time? The end of the 69th week (Dan 9:25), which is also the beginning of Daniel's 70th week - the appointed time that the Messiah would come and fulfill the prophecy. Jesus didn't leave until all things written by the Prophets were completed, making a future 70th week impossible. Luke 18:31 KJV Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and *_all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished._* Luke 24:44 KJV And he said unto them, …. *all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.* Dan 9:27 KJV And *he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:* Mark 14:24 And he said unto them, *_This is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many._* Romans 15:8 KJV …. *_Jesus Christ_* was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, *_to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:_* (Dan 9:27 cont'd) and in the midst of the week *he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,* Hebrews 10:12 KJV … *_he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever,_* … Hebrews 10:10 KJV … we are sanctified through *_the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all._* (Dan 9:27 cont'd) and for the… overspreading of abominations *he shall make it desolate,* even until the consummation, and *that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.* Matthew 23:37-38 KJV *O Jerusalem, Jerusalem,* _thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee_ ... [38] *_Behold, your house is left unto you desolate._* The newer bible versions insert a false antiChrist figure into Dan 9:27, leaving the verse utterly confusing. The Messiah is the one who caused the desolation of the Temple and Jerusalem in 70 AD, just as He prophesied above He would do. The ones who were left desolate were the Levitical priesthood, the people, who were killed or scattered, and the city.

The Prince to come was Christ in the judgment brought by Titus. The people of the Prince was the Roman army (host) which was given to him by Jesus to punish Israel for their transgressions against His covenant. See Daniel 8:13 for the Antiochus anti-type of Titus. Both were "little generals" of their respective empires.

Big difference between a bible translation instead of a bible interpretation with the change of one or two words can make a big difference. Jesus Christ ate the passover on the first day of the feast of unleavened bread Matthew 25:17. He then proceeded to the Mount of Olives, where he was arrested later that night. This happened on the preparation day before the sabbath- Luke 23:54. Wednesday evening. The legalistic priests and pharisees etc., couldn't follow Jesus Christ to the hall of judgment. He was crucified in the morning of Thursday, and died at 3pm and was buried, before the sabbath. Luke 23:54-55. Thursday evening =1 night. Friday morning =1 day Friday evening =2 nights Saturday morning =2 days Saturday evening= 3 nights Sunday morning =3 days. He rose again from the dead. God had told Abraham that his Seed shall be a stranger in a foreign land Genesis 15:13. In due time, Moses took it upon himself, being the prince of Egypt, and leaning on his own intellectual prowess Acts 7:22-30. He didn't know that one cannot do the work of the Spirit in the flesh Galatians 3:3-6, thus he started his ministry 10 years earlier, without being fully equipped and girded with all necessary means to fulfill it. He found himself a fugitive, living with an unreasonable father-in-law, who made him take over the work of keeping sheep, which had been done, thitherto, by his daughters. This gave Moses ample time to reflect and become meek. He even told God that he was a stammerer. He finally got to his end, for him to embrace God's beginning for him- reluctantly though it was. This added extra 40 years to the time of the captivity in Egypt. Another example is Jeremiah 28:13. God told Jeremiah to make a yoke of wood, but he was disdained by the prophet Hanniah, who believed that God had only spoken to him and not to Jeremiah, who wasn't a prophet, but of the priests Jeremiah 1:1. He broke the yoke of wood, but God changed it into a yoke of iron, which further intensified Israel's punishment in captivity . Jeremiah 28:1-17. God's word is immutable. When we dishonor, or disobey His word, even if we repent, the punishment must be administered as it is written. Thank God for Jesus Christ, who lives to intercede for us before the Father, and also by His blood and the Holy Spirit. Romans 7:26-39

The temple was not destroyed in 70 a.d. It was fulfilled in the death of Christ. Not one stone was left... and he established his temple upon the rock, Christ Jesus. Peter used this language, in describing the true temple as living stones.... So... Jesus cast down the stones founded on a corrupt system... He used the same language when he said, Cast this mountain into the sea... Which mountain was he standing beside when he said these words... Jerusalem. Jesus said the same concept to the Samaritan woman, "Joh 4:21 Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. "

This also struck me as a claim needing some further background/support! However read Isaiah 13: 6 Wail, for the day of the Lord is near; it will come like destruction from the Almighty.[a] 7 Because of this, all hands will go limp, every heart will melt with fear. 8 Terror will seize them, pain and anguish will grip them; they will writhe like a woman in labor. They will look aghast at each other, their faces aflame. 9 See, the day of the Lord is coming -a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger- to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it. 10 The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light. 11 I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless. 12 I will make people scarcer than pure gold, more rare than the gold of Ophir. 13 Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the Lord Almighty, in the day of his burning anger. Not saying this is in reference to AD 70, but this is something to think about. God bless - grace & peace! 🤗

The viewers need to know that this view of eschatology is called dispensationalism. It is not what the early church believed and was not taught by early church leaders. It was developed by Darby in the 1800’s and Moody picked it up. It is now main stream in evangelical churches because of its presence in academia, like Moody college. One should weigh this view against others. A good Berean should not take the teachings of others without consulting the text. I think you will find the arguments against dispensationalism to be very compelling, if not convincing. Beware of the sound of one hand clapping.

At the 11:00 mark you said the disciples are not asking about Jesus’s second advent. You seem to have overlooked the phrase “at the end of the age”, which is inaccurate. The correct translation would be “at the consummation.” There can be no doubt as to when this is. Why? Because Jesus had already given them the parable of the wheat and darnel in Ch 13. Same word - consummation. Also, what is with your use of referrant/referrants. Reference/references. Let the reader understand is Matthew’s parenthetical notation. Matthew knows that he is writing for a future time when others will read Jesus’s words, not Daniel’s. If you read and believe Enoch you would know this. It’s in the first chapter

@@budekins542 Exactly my stated point! It was inserted by the author - Matthew. This is precisely my entire point! (Note my phrase, “Matthew’s parenthetical notation.”) This means that it was Matthew who inserted the parenthesis in the midst of Jesus’s words. Matthew understands that what he is writing is applicable for a future generation of believers - those who are living at the time of “the Consummation.” Therefore, “when YOU see…” is showing us that this admonition was for the future church. The point? BELIEVERS will be here on Earth to see the Abomination of Desolation spoken of through Daniel. The greater point? If you are warning the future believers of something which they will see and experience, then this means that they will NOT be gone (raptured) BEFORE these things (else, how could they see these things?). In other words, the careful student will observe that there is no such thing as a “pre-trib rapture.” It is purely 19th Century fiction. It (the Eschaton) will be exactly as Paul tells us in 1 Thess. 5 - namely, that Jesus returning and gathering us together to Himself Must FIRST be preceded by 1. A great apostasy. 2. The revealing of the man of sin. There you go. I did the decode for you. I never said those (“let the reader understand”) were the words of Jesus. In fact, my entire point is that they weren’t. They were parenthetical insertions by another into the middle of Jesus’s words…hence the black letters in the midst of the red ones. Red = Jesus’s words. Black = NOT Jesus’s words. Please go back and carefully reread what I wrote. You will see that I already attributed the phrase to the author of Matthew and not to Jesus.

@@MaryMartinez-lm5tv I have read it. This passage is what Jesus references in his discussion with Nicodemus in John 3, the part about being born of water and the spirit. You don’t realize that this is all believers. Paul did the work for you in Romans. You just don’t get it. The children of Abraham are not the physical lineage but rather they are children according to promise You haven’t understood Romans 11, where “all Israel” = all believing Gentile + the remnant of believing Physical Jews. A Jew is one who praises God according to the spirit. It is not merely the physical descendants of Abraham As it is written, “A father of MANY nations have I made you”. That is to say that Abraham’s children are all those who believe in Jesus Christ and there is no distinction John is very clear in the first chapter to tell us who the children of God are. They are not those who are born of a physical blood line. The are not those who desire God nor have a “free will” in choosing God. No! The children of Abraham are all those who have faith in the promise of the Son. Nobody is saved because they are physical Jews! God is no respecter or persons. A Jew is one who is inwardly a Jew and his curcumcision is of the heart and according to the Spirit of God. It is not a physical fleshly outward circumcision. It is not the ritual performed by a rabbi. The new Covenant is Jeremiah 31 And it is enacted with ALL people. There is no pre-trib rapture of gentiles. You have no such doctrine plainly taught in scripture. There is but one resurrection of the living and the dead. Jesus was ever so clear. He said in John 6, FOUR TIMES, but you have not heard nor believed. He will raise us all ON THE LAST DAY Now go read your Bible and put away the devilish deception of false teachers and repent of your unbelief. Perhaps God will grant you faith to believe His Word

Make an end of sins; 3. Make reconciliation for iniquity; 4. Bring in everlasting righteousness; 5. Seal up the vision and prophecy; 6. Anoint the most Holy. I would like to point out a few things. 1° The prophets Jeremiah and Isaiah point to Cyrus' decree to restore and build Jerusalem, a decree that traditionally dates back to the year 536 BC. Isaiah 44, Chronicles 36:22 Chronicles 36:23 Ezra 1:1 Ezra 6:3.....etc 2° Isaiah prophesied that he would free the captives and also rebuild the city and the temple. The one who freed the captives and decreed the reconstruction of time was Cyrus. 3° The prophecy is for the people of Daniel and the holy city, to atone for the sins of the people of Daniel, to put an end to the transgression of the people of Daniel, to put an end to the sacrifices and meat offerings of the people of Daniel, to give put an end to the sins of Daniel's people, the Gentiles were never under the law of Moses, and never performed sacrifices or meal offerings. 4° In Daniel's prayer he confesses the sins of his ancestors, his people and his holy city. sins against the law of Moses. 5° Atonement for the sins of Daniel's people was made once a year, on the day of Yom Kippur 6th according to the book of Ezekiel, chapter 4 from 4 to 7, indicates that for every year of sin of the people of Jerusalem they should be spied on for one day. 7° the entire context of the prophecy is but two alliances, one with the Jews and the other with the Gentiles, at least lost time 42 Months or 1260 or 3.5 years or half a week for each one. Now just do the math and check the Biblical chronology Year 1866 Before Christ, God makes a pact with Abraham through his son Issac, after 1260 years of sins that Daniel's people committed against the law and the prophets, which Jesus, without committing these sins, fulfilled in 1260 days or half of a week of 7 years, for each year of the sins they committed Jesus spied for one day, reaching the year of the beginning of the Babylonian captivity in the year 606 Before Christ, after 70 years of Babylonian captivity we have the decree of Cyrus in the year 536 Before Christ, then we had a period of 49 years for the reconstruction of the temple and the holy city, and a period of 62 x 7 or 434 years for the coming of the Messiah, Jesus and baptized or anointed with the spirit holy to make atonement for the sins of Daniel's people, to put an end to the sacrifices and meal offerings of Daniel's people, to put an end to the sins of Daniel's people, he fulfilled a covenant and established another, a covenant with the Gentiles. Now, if the first pact lasted a total of 1260 years and this pact refers to half a week, then a week in the prophecy has a total of 2520 years, half a week for Daniel's people and another half a week for the Gentiles, Now just continue the calculations 70 to those of captivity and 2520 years or a week. Years 606 with 70 years of captivity reaching the decree of Cyrus in the year 536 BC, cronologiab.blogspot.com/p/2-de-abraao-ao-exodo.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jM1klcimyNDPfqc.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gpmXdMSBvbCZpGQ.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nMyXp6RkstW6qn0.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/la2Pmstn2LvSpYU.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hZyFgsx81K_NYqs.html

Israel threatened to return to Egypt. Numbers 14. Only a remnant returned to Israel following the decree. Isaiah 45:1-6,13; Ezra 1:1-4; 5:13-15; 6:1-12.; Daniel 9:25.

The problem with the 70th week having now been fulfilled is that in the context of Jesus actually being present with his disciples when he spoke of His coming as still being a future event. So there Jesus is answering the disciples questions. One the the questions is "when will be the sign of you coming" did Jesus say there won't be a sign because I am already here? No. He laid out the events that certainly included the 70 AD distruction of the city and temple, the warning for that event was seeing the abomination spoken of by Daniel. Jesus actually started to answer the disciples questions with " be warned that no one deceives you" why does he do that? Because he is referring to His coming to gather his elect (resurrection and rapture) and that others are going to come pretending to be him.

Not sure I understand- the fulfillment of Daniel’s 70th week is not about Jesus’s second coming. It has nothing to do with end times events at all. Sadly it’s the only prophecy in the Bible that foretold when Messiah would start His ministry and die for our sins, yet people don’t understand that. If at that time, people would’ve paid attention, they would’ve known exactly when He would show up. It’s the most pivotal moment in history, yet somehow turned into an antichrist coming.

@@JLMAX22 It's both. Sure, the prophecy of Daniel 9 has to do with Jesus the Messiah coming and putting and end to sin (etc vs24). Then Vs 26 gives us the time frame of when Jesus will do that, but then we read of a ruler or prince (not Jesus) who would come who's people or armies would destroy the city and the temple. Vs 27 the ruler or prince makes a covenant or treaty with many for one set of seven. This last week ( if we follow the previous 62+7 as being years ) is 7 years. Half way through that (3.5 years) the prince breaks the treaty or covenant. It is at this point that the temple is defiled and an abomination set up in the holy place. This abomination is what Jesus refers to in Matthew 24:15. The time period is pre crucifixion and Jesus is responding to the questions his disciples asked (Vs 3) one of the questions is "what will be the sign of your coming. That's a strange thing to ask someone who is already there. But Jesus is speaking of his future return . Up to Vs 22 it's reasonable to say that Jesus is referring to 70AD but then He starts speaking of false Christ's and prophets who are deceivers. He is saying this because He is still answering the disciples question about His coming. Vs 23 gives us the idea that Jesus's coming follows what happens after the abomination happens, but it sound like Jesus is speaking of himself as the deliverer and it clearly is exactly that. So did Jesus come just after 70Ad, after the tribulation, when the sun and moon were darkened? Absolutely not. So, we must conclude that a repeat of events that happened (leading up to 70ad and including another abomination) will happen again but will culminate with the Lord's coming after the tribulation to rapture his people.

Correction: Note that Dan. 9:26 says the people of the prince who is to come will destroy Jerusalem. Your contention that the prince who is to come is Jesus would mean that it would be Christians who would destroy Jerusalem. Of course that is not the case. Romans destroyed it. Christians fled it as Jesus warned them in in Luke 21: 20 "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near. Then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those who are in the midst of the city must leave, and those who are in the country must not enter the city;" This was fulfilled when Roman armies surrounded Jerusalem, but then returned to Rome upon the death of the emperor. They returned 2 years later and completed the destruction of Jerusalem.

I find it interesting that Messiah Prince is capitalized in both verses (NASB), while the other prince is lower cased & referred to as “people of the prince”. Also interesting is the wording who “is to come”. In numerous places “the prince of this world comes” is referenced in KJV.. while in NASB it is “ruler of this world”. See the wording in John 14:30. Seems like similar wording of the prince (lowercase) ‘coming’. If you do a search many interesting scriptures pop up, of prince of the world/ruler of this world. Could it be that Daniel is referring to Messiah the Prince vs the other prince (lowercase)? See a few more: John 12:31 John 16:11 Ephesians 2:2 Also, I heard a wonderful explanation of “Anointed One”, meaning when Jesus was baptized & confirmed with the Holy Spirit descending as a dove. @@tkinnc1 in order for you to prove the 70 weeks are fulfilled you must also prove that God has restored Israel from their sins. Until then you can’t prove it. the 70 weeks prophesy is appointed to Daniel’s people the Jews. ( Dan 9: 20, 24) not to the messiah or the church. The messiah is part of the prophesy. But it’s not appointed to him or to anyone else but the Jews. (Your biggest mistake is applying what’s meant for Israel to someone else.) Jesus provided for the remission of sins on the cross for the Jews but they didn’t accept that. So God postponed his dealings with them. In order for the 70 weeks to be fulfilled Israel has to: 1. Finish their transgressions 2. Make an end of sins. 3. Make reconciliation for iniquity 4. Bring everlasting righteousness 5. Seal vision 6. Seal prophecy 7. Annoint the most holy place. Again, None of these things are fullfiled in the Jews yet. If you read verses 1-23 you see that Daniel wanted God to have mercy on Israel so he prayed for it (dan 9:1-23) Daniel confessed Israel’s sins and God sent the 70 weeks prophesy as an answer to his prayer. The whole point of the 70 weeks prophesy is to redeem the Jews. Obviously this hasn’t happened yet. Israel is in unbelief and will continue to to so until God’s done dealing with gentiles. rom 11:25-27. It is clear that in order for the 70 weeks to be fulfilled the Jews must be restored to God. Since this hasn’t happened yet it’s obvious that the 70 weeks prophesy isn’t fulfilled yet. You can even see the gap in verse 26. After the 69 weeks the angel says 2 things happen: 1. Death of the Messiah 2. Destruction of Jerusalem THEN he adds the 70th week, and the sacrifice in the middle of the week with the abomination of desolation. That’s the order the bible gives you. In verse 26 it says “ the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and sanctuary” This tells you that when Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 ad The coming prince that makes the covenant in verse 27 was still future. How do i know this? Because it literally says the people of the prince that SHALL COME would destroy it. Not the prince, but the people of the COMING (FUTURE) prince, therefore the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 ad happens before the events of verse 27. And finally the covenant in verse 27 is only for one week or seven years. God’s new covenant is an ETERNAL covenant (heb 13:20). Not a covenant for 7 years. For me it is very clear that this covenant is different than God’s covenant. As long as the Jews remain in unbelief towards God just like today, the 70th week is still future.

All whether preterist or dispensationalist, all have the gap view, just with differences in time length. Pay attention, if you deny the gap position, claiming since there are no gaps in previous 69 sevens, then fulfilment date must be 37 AD. I don’t know what year Yeshua was crucified, but for example let’s assume 30 AD or 33AD. If all of the descriptions of 70th week had to take place in seven years of Yeshua’s death, burial and resurrection according to the Scriptures. These would mean that if Yeshua died in 30-33 AD, all the rest, including destruction of Jerusalem and Israel scattered, had to be over by 37-40 AD. On the other hand if seventy sevens prophecy is not consecutive 490 years and the gap between the Messiah cut off and Israel’s judgment is 30-33 years. If 490 years are not consecutive and the gap can be 40 years, regardless which position you take, who is to say that the gap cannot be 2 or even 20 thousand years? One cannot build theology only on Daniel’s, only on Olivet, only on Revelation discourse - it’s all or none. If I poke hole in one, I make Bible’s and even worst Jesus’s authority nullified, that’s exactly what the ungodly attempt to do. To get an answer, please re-study how, form and pattern biblical prophecies are given by God in already fulfilled prophecies, such as the Messiah’s first coming, salvation, Israel’s past before the 2nd temple etc. You will get the answer.

I was taking it in and trying to stay with your logic until you got to the whole, 490 years doesn't have to mean 490 years in the prophecy and that if it is close, that is good enough. Well, yes, it does have to mean 490 years, just as Jeremiah said, 70 years. You use the 7th year sabbath and jubilee as examples with times that have to be the 7th and 50th years. Listen, if you do something to me 491 times, I'm done forgiving. Jesus said this, and I am not wrong to do so. We know Jesus spoke vaguely and cryptic in many of his answers, so take it that way. But 491 times, and I'm done forgiving. I'll defend that with God if needed. Of course, I would have to keep a tally of how many times, and that will be the first hurdle I'd have to get over before addressing the issue of how many times. Your logic would mean God didn't really mean a whole literal year for a sabbath year. Roughly a week is what it means. It can happen in the sixth year, or eighth year, for the sabbath. It is close enough. The jubilee year is roughly the fiftieth year, not the literal 49 years, and the 50th is jubilee. Get close enough, and it works just fine. Also....Jesus didn't really raise from the dead in three literal days. Jesus kind of did. He got close enough. Time means something when given in a prophetic manner. So, the 490 years of the prophecy needs to be literal. Why choose the time frame to take out and view the rest as literal. Maybe the desolation is not literal, but symbolic. Your logic breaks down as you do a word ballet to try to justify it and then interpret scripture based on that. That is the beauty of scripture. People can play with it and make it say what they want. Also...the scripture says the messiah will be here after 7 weeks. If we read it a different way, we can separate things and combine them and end up adding the 62 years before the messiah comes. You say "prove it," and yet you haven't proved anything other than you have some idea of how the prophecy should read and take bits and pieces to "prove" your way. Jews read it as two messiahs coming, as there have always been multiple messiahs. The words used describing the messiah are the same words used about King Saul. Exact same words. The Jewish reading of the 7 and 62 separate them. 7 until messiah the prince. 62 for the rebuilding and another messiah at that time will be cut off. They claim this happened with Onias. I forget who the say the first one was. So, again, it all depends on how you want to separate and combine words and phrases and what you want to use from other scriptures to support or defend a certain view. The beauty of the Bible - it can say anything if you arrange the words in a manner to make a claim.

I am not strictly defending either position on this topic... But to clarify, I think the difference is whether the text is prophetic, symbolic, or literal. For example, a week is a week, because it has to be. Prophetic words can often be a mix of symbolic and literal. Not a perfect answer but you'll see a similar thing at the beginning of Matthew with the 14/14/14 generations-some claim if you read the generations in the Bible that is not literally accurate-but it is used in a prophetic sense to indicate a fulfillment of different key eras. It can also be thought of as a teaching memory aid. There is much more to say about this I think, but I'm not the expert on such! God bless & lots of love! Grace & peace. 🤗

Israel threatened to return to Egypt. Numbers 14. Only a remnant returned to Israel following the decree. Isaiah 45:1-6,13; Ezra 1:1-4; 7:11-28; 5:13-15; 6:1-12.; Daniel 9:25.

God declares the end from the beginning with all prophecy. Before Christ left… He told them everything about what was going to happen to that generation. That generation would face judgment for killing the prophets and missing the visitation of their Savior that was prophesied in y the prophets and killed Him. From Daniels prophecy till Christ ascended to be at right hand of Father… the only prophecy we had to read was Old Testament prophecy. One can read this prophecy and come to the conclusion that it was to happen in the destruction of the temple in 70AD. Yet somehow for the past 2000 years people missed His coming in judgment aka the Day of the Lord. Why? Because of the apocalypse of John. This book is not from God and changed the outcome of the end of the age. Two witnesses are needed to establish proof and there are two witnesses for a late date of revelation to 95-96 under Domitian. There are not any witnesses to an early date to make it fit with New Testament teachings. In 1996 they celebrated 1900 years on the island of Patmos… why… if it is was written before 70AD. They did because it was written then and is not from God

The millennium is the end of the cycle of the end of sin. Man had a thousand years curse the day Adam and Eve disobeyed God. A day is like a thousand years. The oldest man was Methuselah, he lived 969 years, and the last Adam lived 30 years as the Son of man, a human- Jesus Christ, then He was filled with the Holy Spirit, to become the Son of God 100%God and 100% man, just like the first Adam, who was created flesh and God breathed into his nostrils, to have 100% God in 100% man. Thus, when the mystery of iniquity is dealt with, after the 70th week year of Israel, then the whole world will be destroyed at the second coming of Jesus Christ. This will usher in the kingdom of God, for which Jesus Christ came to preach to Israel, before the gospel of grace- for both Israel and the gentiles, because they rejected their King. The scriptures are going back in cycles, we're now in Genesis 6, 11 and 47.It is like going back to the garden of Eden Isaiah 65; Genesis 5, when man will have to live out the whole 1000 years curse, which ends the wages of sin- death, which ends the cycle of creation, until the new heavens and the new earth is established, where there's no more sin and death. Then the judgment and rewards, abd the institution of mandatory pilgrimage to the New Jerusalem, and then, the Sabbath will be observed, signifying the end of work of both Creation and Redemption of the lost soul of man. Isaiah 66. Every nation will worship God, because there will no longer be evil or Satan present. All have been judged and cast into the lake of fire and brimstone- including death, hell, satan, the antichrist and his false prophets and those that bare his mark. The world will be as God in tended it right from the beginning, after the old earth and the heavens are completely destroyed by fire. 2 Peter 2:10-13; Isaiah 65:17; 66:,15-16, 22; 30:30;9:5 1 Thessalonians 5:2; 2 Thessalonians 2:8; Joel 2:10;; Nahum 1:5; Zephaniah 1:15-28; 3:8: Ezekiel 32:7-9; Revelation 20:1; Revelation 20:9-11, etc.

@@troy4544The beginning of sin, the mystery of iniquity began in Eden, Genesis 4:8-15-24. Man didn't directly commit sin, but was led by a third party- the devil in the serpent, and was made to sin against God. In God's right, He killed a third party propitiation for their sins- the sinless Lamb. Thus God, to be Righteous and Just, must be the One to provide Himself a sacrificial Lamb, to atone for the sins which the third party- Adam, had committed, to be able to Righteously judge the other third party, the devil, satan, the dragon, to finally get punished. But there has to be opportunity on both sides to prove that God is Righteous and Just in His judgment, by giving man 1000 years to prove he can eventually hold his own and not succumb to peer or outside pressure, in order to be worthy of being redeemed, ransomed, regenerated, restored and reconciled, back to God- through Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5. Then, man- Cain deliberately killed his brother, Abel, but this sin couldn't readily be judged simply because there was no preceding law about being one's brother's keeper that was to have been broken. (Thus, the whole system was destroyed by the flood, and the laws started with that Genesis 9:5-6, until finally judged and finished on the cross John 19:30) And in verse 15, a precedent was laid down for the time it would take to judge sin, 70x7 or 490 years. That generation was wiped out by the flood, but the precept remained: sin shall be avenged seventy and seven fold. (Matthew 18:21-23). This was the standard by which Israel also judged, as they also had to spend 70 sabbath years ( or 70x7= 490 years), in exile, outside of the promised land. When it was the 69th week year Daniel prayed to God, and fasted to remind Him of the imminent due date of the return of God's people to their promised land; but the sin of the Amorite was not yet full, Genesis 15:16, also, Israel was still in rebellion towards God, and the land cannot sustain rebellion- it was Holy! So, the Messiah had to come and make a way for grace and justification, and righteousness of God to be imputed, so Israel can get back their monarchy, through the house of David, and back to the kingdom of God, by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, as the Son of God, and the Son of man -the promised Son of David, the king of Israel to order His Kingdom Isaiah 9:6; who would ascend His throne as God had promised him. Romans 1:3; Acts 2:30, and come to bring them back to God, Jeremiah 16:16a; Luke 19:10; Matthew 10:5. Instead, they rejected and killed Him. Thus, from then onwards, the way to God was opened to whosoever would come to Him by grace through the shedding of His blood, by grace through faith in His sacrificial death, burial and resurrection. They were given the adoption of sons and daughters into the kingdom, which hitherto, they were not permitted Ephesians 2:13; John 1:11-14, becoming heirs and joint heirs of God and the Abrahamic covenanted promises an blessing (Genesis 25:6- the representatives of his other children by Hagar and Keturah, the Kings of the East, could now access and partake of the blessing, and they showed their allegiance and faith, by worshipping Jesus Christ, as a Child!) Jesus Christ gave His life for all who would simply believe in Him as Lord and Savior, in order to keep them from the wrath of God that will be unleashed upon the Amorite, until the end. Isaiah 63:18; Daniel 8:13; Zechariah 12:3; Luke 21:24; Revelation 11:2. And eventually, they will be rescued at the second coming of Christ Luke 21:13; Zechariah 14. He finished the work of salvation of the soul of man John 19:30 and this continues the "acceptable year of the Lord" which began as He took the sealed book of Daniel, 12:4, from God, as the Lamb of God, who alone is Worthy, and opened the seals Revelation 5, and fulfilled the first of the three part of Isaiah 61:2, in Luke 4:16-21, and He SHUT it again. This will run through this dispensation of preaching of the gospel of grace, (which ended the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom, which ended with the stoning of Stephen) by faith in the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and He will return to gather His saints from the world, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15; and present them faultless before the presence of God the Father, with exceeding joy, Jude 24; with victory over sin, devil, death, hell and eternal damnation in the lake of fire and brimstone Isaiah 66:24. The second dispensation is nearly upon us, at this time Isaiah 63:4, which will usher in the tribulation period when the 70th and last year will be ushered in to finish all transgressions! Daniel 9:24. ( As the Messiah has become the sacrifice for sin, and was dead, buried and rose again from the dead! His shed blood sprinkled on the heavenly mercy seat for propitiation for sins for all who would go to God by and through Him, simply by faith! Ephesians 2:8). Then, the Lord will return the second time, complete with His body, as a new Creature resting upon the Mount of Olives Zechariah 14, to make a way of escape for the remnants of Israel Matthew 24:31. Then the battle of armageddon will ensue, and it will end up in total obliteration of this earth. Isaiah 24; Joel chapters 2 and 3, Jeremiah chapters 1-11...; 1 Peter 3 etc. This is the fullness and end, and judgment of the sin of the Amorite! Matthew 18:21-22; Psalm 75:8; 73:3-17. Then the new heaven and earth will be created after the conclusion of the millennium- to mark the expiration date of sin and death, like it was back in Eden. Now man will live out the 1000 year curse of death Isaiah 65, (Genesis 5). Then history will repeat itself when everything reaches full circle- the serpent will be released once again, Revelation 20:1-6, to tempt man as he did with Adam and Eve, those who follow him will get totally judged and cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, together with hell, death, the antichrist, false prophets and all whose portion is with them Isaiah 66:24. Revelation chapters 19-22. God has perfected the end from the beginning. But as it is written-"My people are destroyed for lack of Knowledge " Hosea 4:6, so, "With all thine getting, get understanding " Proverbs 4:7; Luke 24:45. Be filled with and led by the Holy Spirit, and abide in the fold, John 10, until He returns as promised, to take up His purchased possession! John 14:26; Ephesians chapters 1-2! Then He will set up His kingdom! Isaiah 9:6! Be encouraged!

"This generation" The question is what is "this generation?" Jesus gives the answer. It is the generation thst sees ALL these things. What are ALL these things?: Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 66AD to 70 AD-1 million Jews killed; 1941 AD to 1945 AD -6 million Jews killed; so it has to be future. Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Didn't happen, so it has to be future. Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Never happened. Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Never happened. Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Never happened. Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. Never happened. Mat 24:15 “So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), Never happened, and I qualify that statement in light of: 2Th 2:3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 2Th 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. If that's what Mat 24:15 is talking about then: Never happened. So in light of this the real question becomes: why would anyone want to try and shoehorn all this into the past? What are they trying to avoid?

Historical arguement that the Jews(this generation) destroyed their own city & Temple due to their rebellion against Rome: Daniel's 70/7's The people of the prince to come are the Jews. God deals with the world in dispensations. Jesus Christ was the minister for the circumcision- Israel alone Matthew 10:5; John 4:22; Romans 9:4-5. They rejected Him and the gentiles had the opportunity to be saved, Ephesians 2:12, now by grace through faith in His sacrificial death, burial and resurrection alone John 12:33, and be adopted into sonship with believing Jews as well John 1:12-14, as long as they abide in Him, sealed by the Holy Spirit breathed unto them John 14:26; 20:22, Acts 1:8. They cannot do anything apart from Him, as members in particular of His body. This is what Daniel couldn't understand, and why the vision had to be sealed till it was fulfilled. When it was due time, no one was worthy to take the sealed book from the hand of God to fulfill, not even angels. All seemed lost, but the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world was worthy. He took the book, and began to open the seals Revelation 5:7. He was now able to open the book physically, and fulfill the first of the three dispensations- the acceptable year of the Lord, meaning a year of grace for everyone who would believe on His name. Luke 4:17-21, of Isaiah 61:2. He had to sprinkle the book with His blood for it to be efficacious- He did by dying on the cross, like the Lamb that was slain for man. This dispensation will last until the fullness of the iniquity of the Amorites, and Israel is restored to finish the iniquity at the last 70th week year. The rivers Euphrates and the Nile are now drying out to make a way for them. Once they start to return the church- the real body of Christ will be taken up to find their places in His body, as He is the Head. This will usher in the day of Vengeance of our God. Isaiah 61:2b. Also to be sprinkled with blood at the marriage supper of the Lamb Revelation 19. Then, The complete new Creation, Christ will return to rescue remnants of Israel Matthew 24:31; Zechariah 14, as He rests his feet on the mount of Olives, which will split into two to make a way of escape for them. Then the final battle which will end the world system as we know it and usher in the millennium Isaiah 61:2c. Man will now live out the 1000 years curse completely (Methuselah was the oldest man, and Jesus Christ filled the rest of his years 969+30, before He was infilled with the Holy Spirit). The cycle will begin to close as this will reflect Genesis 5, until it gets back to the beginning. When we diligently seek the Lord, as He said " where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name...He will always be in the midst of them- by His Holy Spirit. You are 1, I am another 1, the Holy Spirit is witness to what I'm writing to confirm or refute it. Why is it so hard to believe? By their fruits we are knowing them. Instead of the world getting better and people having the fear of God, things are quite the opposite. So, why continue to do what hasn't yielded any peaceable fruits? Many are already separating themselves in different congregations to worship a Jesus that they created that will suit their way of life. Do you know why God is permitting this? Because everything we need to know about Him as God, and Jesus Christ His Son, has been revealed in the book He has opened. Deuteronomy 29:29; Psalm 25:14; Romans 16:25-26; Colossians 1:25-26 etc. He raised up Daniel and gave him the Revelation of what was hidden, which he couldn't understand. Thus, John was given the Revelation concerning the Church chapters 1:-4, he was call up, as Daniel was as well. Revelation 5 continues the confirmation of all the prophesies He was shown by the same angel, and then it was concluded. The time to play church is far spent, let's all begin to work out our individual salvation with fear and trembling for it will be a terrible thing to fall into the hands ofGod, for our God is a consuming Fire. We need to be like the children of Issachar- to know the signs of the times, and to know what to do. 1 Chronicles 12:32; Romans 13:11-14! Let God be True...

God actually works in dispensations: The dispensation of Innocence where there wasn't sin present. The dispensation of Conscience, when sin wasn't imputed because there wasn't any human precedence; The dispensation of Imputed righteousness when sin is covered by the blood of the Lamb and the sacrificial ram of Abraham; The dispensation of Law when sin is personally atoned for by sacrifices; The dispensation of gospel of the kingdom, where Israel's sin is washed by repentance and baptism, which led to the dispensation of salvation of the soul of the world by grace, through faith in the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ which ends in the taking up of the Church- Jews and Gentiles; The dispensation of Vengeance when God deals with the sin of the whole world immediately by letting them go through the tribulation, but still gets the chance to personally get saved by themselves, and angels and 144000, preach the everlasting gospel - just in case anyone got interested, but no! The dispensation of restoration of Israel into the promised land, which ends up in remnants getting rescued at Jesus's second coming, and kept hidden in a place prepared for them by God- personally. The dispensation of the millennial reign, where man gets to be comforted, his tears wiped away and lives out the 1000 years curse of the original sin; The dispensation of judgment, condemnation, and rewards.

It’s so simple to just read it and take away that the 70th week is yet future. Basic chronology: after 69 weeks Messiah is killed and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Check. Those events happen chronologically AFTER the 69 weeks. Then *he (nearest antecedent requires this to be “the prince” mentioned in the previous verse. That’s the prince of the people who, also previously, destroyed the city and the sanctuary) will confirm a form covenant with the many for one week, (or the 70th 7), and in the middle of the week he will put and end to sacrifices and offerings.” So after the 69th week the city and sanctuary are destroyed (Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war. Desolations are decreed.) This all happens after the 69th week and before the 70th week because… The 70th week starts when a covenant is confirmed with the many FOR ONE WEEK. And, 3.5 years into that 7 year covenant (it must be a 7 year covenant because the Bible literally says it’s a 7 year covenant) *he (whoever he is) puts an end to sacrifices and oblations. But those would have stopped when the sanctuary was destroyed. So there must be a sanctuary again before sacrifices and oblations can be stopped. There is a necessary elapsing of some amount of time between the END of the 69th week and the START of the 70th week. And in that lapse of time Messiah is killed and the city and sanctuary are destroyed. It works perfectly if you understand it dispensationally, but any other way it gets muddy and breaks down. Also, read the rest of Daniel. The final Antichrist is a major character in the prophetic visions. That the prince of the people who destroy the city and sanctuary is the Man of Sin is in perfect harmony with the theme of Daniel.

God gave Daniel the end time vision and revelation, and he couldn't understand what he heard and saw. Thus, the bible was shut in Daniel 12:4 because he couldn't comprehend what the angel that talked with him was saying, especially about a Savior who would be cut off- it didn't make any sense, and about the end of the world. He was only praying for God to remember His people in captivity, who are nearing the completion of their 70 years in captivity. It was then the 69th week year, so God sent the angel to let him know that His people were not ready, and they wouldn't be able to return to the promised land- which will reject them, as they were cast out already because of unbelief and disobedience to the law of the land. In His mercy, God was going to play His ultimate card - send His Son to finish the work and restore His people. But, they have to go through the period of the wrath of God, so to spare at least some, God ushered in the dispensation of Grace- whosoever would believe in Him, through the sacrificial death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, His Only Begotten Son, and accept Him as Lord and Savior, will be spared. Thus, he was told to go rest till the time of the end when everything would've come to pass already and would then be easier to understand. The book of Revelation is the revealing or clarification of those things that Daniel couldn't understand at that time, especially that of a suffering Messiah, who will later be glorified (Benoni to Benjamin), now made manifest to him and not to the Apostle John as many thought, to whom was revealed the conclusion of the grace dispensation of the church. Daniel was referred to as "greatly beloved" Daniel 9:23, and the Apostle John often referred to himself as "the desciple whom Jesus loved ", other than that, there's no where in the scriptures where there's any reference whatsoever, to connect him to end time revelations. Thus, Daniel must have been referred to as the man greatly beloved, (like Solomon and Benjamin), rather than by his name in the manuscripts, thus, it was attributed to the Apostle John as the person to whom the vision was revealed. Could it also be possible for Daniel to be the one on the Isle of Patmos since there was a reference of him appearing again at the time of the end in Daniel 12? Jesus, as the Lamb of God, took the book that was sealed Revelation 5, and opened it physically in Luke 4:17-21, after His baptism and anointing, now filled with Holy Ghost and power, as the Messiah, to begin His ministry, as it was written of Him Psalm 40:6-8. He quoted the first part of Isaiah 61:2 because that was what He had come to fulfill. Isaiah 63:4, let us know that the second part would begin after the completion of the first part. The day of the Lord's vengeance is now upon the world. The acceptable year of the Lord is fast closing. Let's endure till the end by His grace. In Jesus' name. Luke 4:17-18, Isaiah 61:2, 63:4, 34:8; 35:4, 33:22. Psalm 91. We have no excuses. The bible will be shut again very soon, as the Holy Spirit that was sent to teach, help us understand, interpret to and lead us until the time of the end would have taken all Believers up and out of this world, thus, the bible returning to how it was in Isaiah 28:11-12; Amos 8:11-12. Everything written and revealed is unfolding. They have started to make sense as the day draws near. The whole counsel of God will be fulfilled, and then the end will come. Daniel actually needed the revelation of Jesus Christ to the Apostle John, in Revelation chapters 1-4, In order to understand the end-time prophecy God sent the angels to reveal to Him, before continuing from Revelation chapter 5 onwards, till judgment and rewards. Daniel was told not to seal the prophecy at this time, once everything already became clear, and he got the full understanding of past, present, and future events that should begin to unfold from then onwards, which he couldn't understand before, and got the book of prophecy shut until its revelation, hence the name: Revelation. Revelation 22:10. God was ready for the prophecies to begin to unfold. The next is the ushering in of "The Day of Vengeance of our God " after " the acceptable year of the Lord." Luke 4:17-20; Isaiah 61:2; 63:4. We need to be prepared!

Oh, so 69 sevens were exact, without rounding up, but 490 years doesn’t have to be exact and all the acrobatics are just to explain all being fulfilled in 70 AD, because you still have 37-40 year gap? Nu, nu, nu you are being a bad, nutty boy. Watch out for those who spiritualize scriptures whenever they want. This guy is doing it all the time.

This is just like when God promised to deliver Israel after 400 years of captivity, but Moses reacted without God's leading 10 years prior, and added extra 30 years. Thus, we see 400, 430 years. I believe that something is happening to make the Lord to tarry. Let's use this opportunity to get our acts together. Be encouraged, Faithful is He that promised, Who also will do it, in His time.

If you had stopped repeating yourself so many times it would be much easier to follow your points, or at least go through it completely explaining each point straight through, no backtrack. You made it much too fragmented. People aren’t that stupid. It’s not really that difficult to understand.

When Jesus Christ tells Peter about the forgiveness forever 70 times 7 = 490 Jesus Christ did everything on the Cross!!! Jesus was crucified on a Wednesday there were 2 Sabbath’s that week. That Tuesday Jesus did make a New Covenant in His body and blood at the Passover meal. Glory and He was here 40 days after His Resurrection and went back to Heaven.
