What a lovely day in Rome. I only got to see Circus Maximus in passing. It is a larger area than I anticipated. I got to see baths but not these. So cool. It's huge and so interesting. The patterned flooring is amazing. Thank you for another fabulous walk.🥰❤️

Allora visita i seguenti musei: Galleria Nazionale d'arte antica di Palazzo Barberini, Galleria Nazionale di arte antica di Palazzo Corsini (opere di Filippo Lippi, Perugino, Beato Angelico, Raffaello, Andrea del Sarto, Tiziano, Lotto, Tintoretto, El Greco, Caravaggio, Reni, Guercino, Bernini, Algardi, Ribera, Rubens, Van Dyck, Poussin, Terbrugghen, Murillo, Tiepolo, Canaletto, Guardi , Bellotto ecc.ecc. ) Museo Nazionale Romano ( 4 sedi ) Palazzo Altemps (con le statue celeberrime ammirate dai grandi intellettuali europei come Winkelman, Lessing, Goethe, Stendhal eccetera, che compaiono in tutti i ritratti degli aristocratici del Grand Tour) Palazzo Massimo con capolavori assoluti come la FANCIULLA DI ANZIO, il Pugilatore. Il Principe ellenistico, Augusto in veste di Pontefice Massimo, l'Efebo di Subiaco ecc. These vids are very revealing. We are in our 70’s and it is good to see how far some of the walks are going to be and how many opportunities to sit down along the way. Will be there in mid May. What are those strange masks that group were wearing near the circus ?
