In a recent interview, Dire Straits' manager Ed Bicknell said Mark Knopfler spent 3 months writing this song. And it shows. You can't write a timeless masterpiece in 5 minutes, and you can't learn how to play a song like this in 5 minutes. Playing and listening to this song is like therapy... Well done!

I've posted a previous comment where I was advising Dylan to watch Pavel's videos to complete his knowledge about knopfler style. Pavel's lessons were a true step forward for my guitar technique even if i have 20 years practice. You guys should collaborate doing some videos together:)

J'ai 16 ans et je tombe par hasard sur l'album Making Movies dans la collection de disques de mon voisin, et là... La claque de ma (jeune) vie... Encore aujourd'hui je me rappelle parfaitement, 40 ans plus tard, du moment où j'ai entendu pour la première fois "Romeo & Juliet" ce jour là, c'était le soir d'une belle journée d'été on écoutait cette musique assis sur le rebord de la fenêtre de la chambre de mon frère en refaisant le monde, et j'ai compris ce soir là que Mark Knopfler m'accompagnerait toute ma vie... Ce soir j'ai retrouvé, grâce à toi, cette sensation, merci Dylan... 🙏

Quel plaisir de vous lire, j’ai 28ans et Mark est mon guitariste préféré Dire Straits est plus qu’un groupe je ne saurais le décrire, j’ai entendu Tunnel of Love pour la première fois sur un Juke-box alors âgé de 10ans Dylan et Ismail Khalid (je vous invite à écouter ce jeune homme) sont les dignes successeurs de Mark, je ne serais vous l’expliquer mais leurs touchers sont identiques, l’attaque des cordes tout est parfaitement reproduit c’est fabuleux. Je soupçonne Dylan d’être le petit fils de Mark et d’avoir pu profiter toute son enfance du meilleur professeur !
