Romeo you do realise that ‘When are you going to marry me ?’ is technically a proposal! I love that MaKenna just rolled her eyes and said ‘am I going to have to propose to you?’ and your ‘I’m ready’ is the cutest - but MaKenna is waiting for you to put a (possibly vintage if not vintage style) ring on it! Who else here is dreaming of a MaKenna thrifted wedding and the table decor, vintage and new wedding dress shopping - gosh I can see it all!

for that colour polish you wanted, CND have the shade called Married To Mauve, in their Vinylux range (removable polish) and also in their Shellac range (longer wearing). I love it and I would say its a close match for what you want. OR look at ibd Mocha Pink, again this comes as a laquer or gel polish.

So glad you were finally able to complete your Pyrex bowl set. I hope it traveled well to TX. I once had to fly home from OR to MN with 4 ceramic bowls that I couldn't find anywhere else. It was challenging!

You've never been to Liz's Antique Hardware? That was one of my favorite places when I lived in LA. Every time I upgraded items in my 1940's apartment that was my go to....and the PCC Flea. I had a long convo with the owner once and she told me she sources from all over the country. Will go and strip out/buy out old movie theaters/play houses that are being demoed, etc. Sounds like heaven.

I’m collecting Anchor Hocking amber fluted bakeware. I have about 6 pieces of the set now that I’ve purchased at different thrift stores at different times! I’m always on the lookout but it’s fun to bring the set back together! Which is good in the end because if I ever wish to part with it I’ve brought a set back together!

It’s so funny how much you love those pyrex sets. My mom bought the set with lids a couple years ago and I was like “why!? We don’t need these.” And she was so excited about them. And here you are chasing them down at every thrift store all excited like her. lol

MaCenna you should totally ask Romeo he clearly gave you an opportunity!!! That’s an awesome hardware store that will be a great resource to finish your hardware sets. Also, with the two large bowls you nearly have 2 whole sets since you already had a duplicate!

There's a place in downtown San Antonio that is like the vintage hardware place in LA, it's called Architecture Antiques. You may find your window pulls there. There is also an architectural salvage place in Luling Tx, not far from SA, called Texas Tiny Homes. They used to build tiny homes out of salvaged material, they no longer build the homes but have warehouses full of stuff, maybe the owner would be selling stuff to the public. I know he rents out some of his tiny homes out as airbnbs. Good Luck!

I had to re-watch this episode... I was in Goodwill today just browsing and I came across a set of mixing bowls. There they were! Three Pyrex bowls that match match the fluted ones from your video. I had a MaCenna moment and quickly snagged them!! I have been needing mixing bowls so it was the perfect purchase!
