I am a Filipino-American who has been living in the US for years and years now but I visit the Phil whenever there is an opportunity. Despite my being no longer a Filipino citizen, I haven’t lost my concern and interest in everything that’s going on in the Phil. When Duterte was still the Phil President, at first I thought that he would be a good leader of the country but, as he stayed longer in the office, I saw that he was leaning towards China more and favoring China more to the detriment of the country and its people. I did not like that. I still love the Phil so much and I do not want the sovereignty of the country to be compromised just because the leader of the country is a friend of China and and not of the US. I was happy when BBM was elected president of the country and one aspect of his inaugural speech was on defending and protecting the sovereignty of the country and on telling every Filipino boldly that he would not allow even a square inch of its territory to go into the hands of a foreign country. Since that time until now, he has not reneged on that promise and I have seen his strong resolve to do just that. God bless the Phil! God bless PBBM.

This is my first time to see and hear Ambassador Romualdez. Thanks, Mr. Esguerra for having invited him in your channel. He looks like an epitome of a diplomat and he is so articulate and he knows exactly the political situation of the Phil. I believe he is another asset of the Marcos administration.

Very nice & informative interview with ambassador Romualdez. The past administration failed to defend the Philippines’ sovereign territory. China was allowed to do whatever they wanted to do, so now PBBM is working so hard to defend & protect what really belong to the Philippines.

A real civil servant that doesn't" bury his head on the sand" when critical issues like these arise in his country ( like what in the past admin who failed to do so....) In fact..this was the very first pledge they promised under the presence of the Holy Bible" to protect the dignity and sovereignty of our country"on the very first day of their office.! I think the present Admin is just doing the right thing powered by the unbiased media ..( honestly,im not a pro PBBM..but slowly convinced how he deals this issue seriously) No personal emotions or interests should be involved but time has come that all fil irregardless of political party should be united to uplift the morale of our country and foremost the Fil...and not to be a laughing stuff to the aggressors.. I agree with Ambassador Babe Romualdez, we the Filipino people are spoken and we will not allow any intruders and bullying coming from china, our territory should be protected, it is our property and we need to support our Government in fighting for our rights. PBBM is doing his best to fight for our country! This is very crucial interview with Amb. Romualdez against China's bullying and need to be shared among ordinary Filipinos. It's so sad that ordinary Filipinos doesn't really comprehend or lose interest when they heard these intellectual interviews. They prefer to tune in to other media source like SMNI and other pro-Duterte vloggers (who mostly speak Filipinos), and poisoned the mind of ordinary Filipinos.

Philip Goldberg said the same thing MaryKay said earlier today. We will end up worse than Ukraine if we continue to intentionally provoke China... Unless a Filipino lobby oversteps AIPAC as America's most powerful lobby.

Hindi ko binoto si PBBM pero I see his effort to uplift the lives of every filipino and to boost our economy with investment from around the world. He travels a lot pero I know that travels were very productive and we will see that fruitions in the coming years. And his travels abroad is very important for us kasi dun nya nahihikayat ang world leaders na kumampi sa bansa natin against disinformation and bullying from china. Malaking bagay din ang ginagawa nyang effort sa issue regarding spratleys/WPS dispute. I salute him for that hindi katulad ng previous administration na nagtraydor sa sariling bansa. Former president should be put in jail for that matter. He jeopardized our rightful territorial claims and our security. I voted duterte pero pinagsisisihan ko yun and in his 6yrs term sana naman nakita na ng taong bayan kung anung klase syang leader. Katulad sya ng china na nagpapakalat ng maling impormasyon at pabago bago ang statement whenever it is inconvenient for him. We should not trust the Dutertes anymore.

Former president Duterte is a puppet of China, katulad din ng pangulo ng Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka president allowed the construction of infrastructure in his country funded by huge debt from China, pero China ang contractor, kay China ang laborers to be paid mula sa inutang ng Sri Lanka from China, so balik din kay China ang pera nila habang tumutubo ng millions of dollars of interest from Sri Lanka. And after the building of the infrastructure funded from the utang, China owns 90,% of them. Kawawang Sri Lanka. Sa suhol ng China (sinuhulan ang president ng Sri Lanka), Sri Lanka president sold out his people to China, puppet kasi.

Despite earnest attempts to cultivate diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China, the Philippines finds itself subjected to unwarranted encroachment. Presently, as PBBM asserts the nation's interests with resolve, it signifies not an escalation to hostilities but rather a principled endeavor to uphold our inherent rights, sovereignty, dignity, and future prosperity. So God bless PBBM and Philippines. Disregard that old man who is known for persistent criticism and exhibiting a propensity for aligning with the interests of China.

China is the one to be blame if war escalate. The joint patrol Will penetrate to the coastal area in the mischief reef and subi reef. If China will Challenge then the Philippines should challenge and warn China to leave the area as the area they are occupied is the Philippines territory and their illegal occupation is a violation of the international law and should leave immediately.

Yeah he is right, US is in our back served as a wall while china is pushing at the front. We are sandwhiched and we are the ones feeling the pain and yet our president like to endure it and china like to see that until he is gone from office in 2028 then the Filipinos will be crunched in between. Basically PBBM is saying "look i have a robust wall at my back", Chinese said "who cares, I'll keep pushing you and you can't do anything about it because you are very afraid of my presence and you have no guts to use that friend of yours behind your back. He is just a display and therefore useless. A futile brotherhood". End of the Philippines. Guys i would say, lets pray unto God to speed up His prophecy about china and the iron empire He mentioned in the book of Daniel. Thats the only hope we've got.

Peter: even though I did not like his dad's administration but I totally support what President BBM is doing to the country especially our foreign policy aligning with the US w/c is our long time ally. Mr. President I know you are doing this for the future of the country/ for the Filipino people. I totally support you on this including the first Lady w/ all the amazing projects.
