I half agree. The movies gave us more looks for the first five movies, but the books gave us more moments (like Ron standing up for Hermione when Snape called her a “known it all” or Hermione kissing Ron and him blushing etc..). But at the same time I’m happy that the movie didn’t ruin them like they did for Hinny and Remadora (even Bleur was almost ruined)

It's been a few months but let me just say: Rowling is a people pleaser. The book fans did not complain because it just made sense and it was just always very sweet. Some of the movies fans were furious because the screenwriter has an obsession with Harmione and made it seem like they could be a thing. So because that vocal minority complained, she said it was a mistake. That's just my opinion tho
