Only one inconsistency bothers me... he does not obey his own pyramid's edict on haircuts. But I'd prefer he change the pyramid rather than altering his majestic head tsunami.

Ron's haircut is an earned privilege. Earned through a lifetime of hard work, sacrifice, whole-assing one thing, thus proving himself worthy of said haircut. Until then, these kids get the obligatory buzzcut/crew cut/high & tight like military recruits who must also prove themselves worthy. It is not outside the realm of possibility that Ron, at their age, had the glorious buzz/crew/high & tight.

Nick offerman did ron as a joke to make fun of people that act like this. But ended up creating one of the most iconic tv show characters that spoke the truth

@@d.a.t.7723 i made that comment 2 months ago. Really? Pretty much 99% of Ron was something Nick Offerman disagreed with. Thats why he did it as an exaggerated joke. However plenty of what ron is personality wise isnt far off how most people who enjoy the character are. Disdain for any form of government, wanting to be a conservationist and enjoy nature. Woodworking, good whiskey, good steaks, disdain of europe and thinking America is the best. I know plenty of people who embody this character even though he was supposed to be making fun of that type of person.

I like how the character of Ron Swanson was created as an obvious attempt to mock conservatives and libertarians as being ignorant and irrational, but then conservatives and libertarians actually liked him because he's just a decent person with common sense opinions.
