Reagan’s statement that “if we forget what we did, we will forget who we are” is exactly what the LORD told His people in Deuteronomy 6:4-9 The teaching diligently to your children, and shall talk of them while you sit in your house, while you walk by the way, when you lie down and when you rise up…bind them as a sign on your hand, etc. Our children are always the next generation that needs to be taught what God has done in our lives, and the blessings that came through obedience. It is a purposeful and diligent process of transferring moral truth into their lives. Our faith and patriotism are intertwined in America, which is why the enemy seeks to destroy both. We have been foolish closing our churches at the behest of a government official and of some pastors who perhaps didn't consult GOD and then hold to HIS WORD: My House shall be called a House of Prayer. Matthew 21:13 Is any sick among you, then let him call for the Elders who will anoint him with oil and the prayer of faith shall save the sick. James 5:14 Always and especially so when the nation is being attacked by a virus or by the enemy in whatever guise he chooses. We forgot that OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD! Tearful memories of the time gone by, may God lift up another for our recovering nation. I walked the streets of Washington back then for God's help in restoring the USA with hundreds of thousands of other believers for that very purpose. God then gave us Gov Reagan to be our president. When i was around 4 and till I was 6 years old, my daddy was the pastor to some of president Reagans cabinet. One of the men in his cabinet use to take us out to eat and spoil us. Daddy has done some of their children and grandchildren's weddings. Daddy was invited to have breakfast with President Reagan but he never did because my grandmother died on that day. I remember hearing how sweet and kind he was from the nice man that took us out to eat with him and his family. I wish i could remember the mans name but i guess i was to little to remember. Our friends were drafted & some not even allowed to attend the last few weeks of senior year let alone to attend graduation ceremonies... Tough years If married, one was not drafted. So many eloped that rules changed so that only if the wife was pregnant then the fella was exempt from the draft. Many got pregnant just for that reason. We loved country but not what the government was doing on foreign shores. So many injustices

All good and true things, but these worldly concerns for this life (and ultimately for self) defile the purity and simplicity that is the Kingdom of God and our Savior Himself. Such an amazing time to witness and experience strength and vision. Hope of promises expressed and powerful actions to back it. He did verbalize the vision of the shining city on a hill. Seeing him at work whether on the Reagan ranch or at camp David you knew it was a solid foundation. It was an amazing time. I pray with you again today in full agreement. Glory to God! Marvelous post this morning. Thank you for reminding us today of some good history. We need to hear those calls to action and true words from a president who was a genuine patriot. Heavenly Father, we repent of the sins our nation has committed against You, and our purpose for Your calling in this world. Please restore our nation to righteousness one person and one family at a time. With You, the United States of America shall be saved!!

Forgive us Lord Jesus for allowing government to have more rule than WE THE PEOPLE!!!! Thank you Jesus for Texas bringing us back to the Ten Commandments !! we pray other states follow.
