I remember when this guy came from nothing, playing for Grêmio. Right away he was drafted for the national team, and score and amazing goal in his first appeareance. His older brother, Assis, was also an amazing player, but Ronaldinho Gaúcho came from another galaxy. Actually, R9 was called Ronaldinho, but he became Ronaldo, to be different from Ronaldinho Gaúcho. "inho" in Portuguese means younger or smaller. "Gaúcho" mens someone from the Brasil's South, it is also used in Argentina and Uruguay, GAÚCHO is a countryside southern guy.

Nesta yes (Forza Lazio) but Gattuso was a midfielder. Ronaldinho truly was a wizard. He wassss a party Animal too, maybe part of his weakness, welness and strength at the same time. I know it sounds contradictory but my God it's True. He became Ronaldinho because all he lived was adding to each of his skill, from the Brazil periferic football to ultimate elite level, making it possible for us to experience something never before. One of the greats.

9:32 and 9:50 is the same guy, his name is Dunga. In 2010 he was the coach of Brazilian National Team to World Cup and he did not take Ronaldinho with him because all things Ronaldinho made against him in the matches while both were professional players. He is the only person in this World who hates Ronaldinho e we all brazilians hate him because he did not summon Ronaldinho to the World Cup 2010. Since this episode, we call him "Dunga Burro" that means "fool/dumb/idiot/donkey Dunga". Ronaldinho started his carrier in Grêmio team and Dunga is idol of Internacional team, this team with red shirt and white short. Both teams are eternal rivals because they are from the same city and almost matches between them they start a fight.

The most entertaining footballer i ever saw. Wether it was playing in PSG, Milan or Barcelona. Always smiling, even when he was assasinating you on the pitch. Would have wanted to see him a longer time in Barcelona. He would have had more wonderful years playing with young Messi. But unfortunately he liked the party life a little too much and his career was cut short.

when it comes to pure skill he is the goat, theres no discussion that ronaldinho and ronaldo fenomeno would've been the goats if ronaldinho had more commitment in maintaining his level and ronaldo didn't have so many injuries but cr7 and messi are considered the goats for being able to keep at the highest level for more than a decade by scoring and winning titles

That's part of a NIKE ad... one of the greatest football ads imho... it's all in FIRST PERSON VIEW from a player, starting in young teams, being selected to Arsenal, then rising in career... That Ronaldinho part is him facing Barcelona at Camp Nou... It's a single ad featuring so many top class players... Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Iniesta, Zlatan, Van Nistelrooy... It deserves a reaction on it's own!

Dudes...Ronaldinho was the most skilled player to ever step on a Pitch and i enjoyed every game he played for Barcelona. But his peak was short lived. He was as skilled in going out partying :D so his performance could be brilliant or abismal, depending on the day he had. Messi is something else, he has been on a incredible high level for over 10 years. EVERY SINGLE MATCH! So even Ronaldinho who was a mentor and is a friend of Messi says his not on Messis level. The rule says that untill the goalkeeper has the ball or hasn't cleared it yet, u can't go for the ball, in fact for that move in the reality he got a yellow card

Great Reaction Guys!! Well I've been blessed to be watching football since the mid 1960s so I was lucky to watch Pelé Cruyf Maradona and many other great players including Messi and Cr7 but no other player has given me the same level of joy and pleasure to watch him play as Ronaldinho. Back in the day it was a pleasure to watch Pelé because he was the only one playing at another level than the rest but still he wasn't so flashy as Ronaldinho. He could've accomplished a lot more with his Skills and his magic but sadly, he thrashed his football career so early by becoming a party animal caring more about night parties and ladies.
