I discovered a love for faux painting and you. Omg thx for sharing. I'm in a rental so I'm not sure if I can do this here. But I'm going to watch all your videos Great teacher. I cracked up when you explained mixing the colors and using a bigger container 😜😜 . But again thanks for sharing your skills .. I did hear the difference

That's awesome! Quick question! Is there a particular reason you separated each section? Did you want it to look like separate panels on purpose? If I'm able, would it just be possible to do one whole wall at once?

MudSlingr I think the panel look is much cooler and interesting then just rolling a whole wall, it’s also a lot more time consuming to complete but it’s one of my favorite projects at the moment

came out great. im trying to do a bar top wall with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers dark pewter color. what would you suggest the color of glaze and wax for it. also did you even sand, if necessary.

Your work is amazing. I do have a question in the video you mentioned using joint compound and then later you mention tinting your Zinseser primer. Do you actually tint to joint compund?

Hey, I think he was referring to his zinser primer. He tints his primer (basecoat) to a similar color of the topcoat. Then he primes his textured wall after its dry, with the zinser. That way it's already similar to the color of the glaze he's using.. So: - use non tinted joint compound to make crocodile texture. Let dry. - use zinser 1-2-3 primer tinted to the color you're using for the glaze. Prime textured wall. Let dry. - use Glaze of your choice to glaze the finish coat on the textured wall. - use wax of your choice. Let dry. Buff. 🤷‍♂️

Can this process be accomplished with a layer of blue paint on the wall and white paint on the roller ?

What would you recommend for making this black? I haven't been able to find black primer. Do you think a 2 in 1 paint and primer tinted black would work 🤔

Prime it gray, paint it with a black eggshell paint , no primer will tint black
