Major problem with the interview was not that it deteriorated relationship with MU but that it created an impression of Cristiano in the eyes of others that if they take him, it will create a mess in the squad and destabilize it. Had he quietly left the club, he would have found some takers atleast. Also, you are correct that he should not expect to start in every game at this age.

clubs like chelsea, real madrid, fc porto, sporting were interested in him. it was expected that they might sign him in January transfer window. he scored 47 goals last season, is a deadly goalscorer. clubs wanted him lmao for low wages he just needs a break. if he performs well there and in euro 2024 as well then he can have a comeback to europe. zlatan went and played in mls for 2 years. i hope that happens and it will happen

Xavi went at the age of 34-35.. Ronaldo played in Italy in most defensive league with an average Juve team at the age of 34 35 36 my boy.. Only in club, he scored 101 goals with 5 elite trophies.. at the age of 36-37 he played in EPL, the toughest, with a dead man utd team, scored 24 club goals ( 30 in last season ) .. Now he is 1 month younger than 38 .. what u expect !!??

Actually one of the fact is today's football playing style is so changed and every coach in Europe wants to play with more n more intensity and nobody wants a pure number 9 these days except Pep Guardiola! Yes the only team would have been best suited for Ronaldo is Manchester City just because of their playing style and Kevin de bruyne... He would have scored like haaland if he gets consistently chances KDB and Man City produces..but now they got haaland and not many clubs can afford Cristiano Ronaldo and his wages... And Cristiano wants to play football everyday and in every match... But still as a Cristiano fan this tranfer hurts me so much, i was more than happy to watch him playing in any of the premiere league teams 💔 Yes he is the 🐐 but his decision making is not as good as he is...
