I've felt a place like that. Up in the hinterlands over the Gold Coast - on the way up to my friends lovely home on the side of the hills overlooking the entire coast and sea - every time I drove on that road - I'd feel like I would stay on it endlessly - that the road would never end - it was a feeling of such danger and had a solid reality to it to my senses. Every time I got to the other side I sighed with relief, and it felt like I'd been allowed free. It was only a feeling but over a decade after I last drove along that road, I still feel like I did then - like I was between worlds and in danger of being lost. I'd forget it every time, though, I'd feel such danger and then leave it behind while I visited and not remember until I was already back on the road and it would swamp me again. I'm glad I don't need to drive that way again.

When I was a boy I first visited Donegal, Ireland back in 1980 with my mother and family. We were told a story of what happened to a male relative of ours. His wife was at home when suddenly her husband burst in through the door in a terrified, desperate manner. He told her to "shut the door woman, shut the door, the fairies are after me"!! Later he told her his story. He was out in the field working when he saw the fairies and they were trying to surround him in a large circle. He knew if they completed the circle somehow he would be trapped. Before they could do this he took to his heels and ran out of there for his life. He got home safe. When I first heard this story I laughed and found it amusing. I was told sternly not to do this as although we city folk may not believe any of this, the rural folk we were staying with took it seriously.

6:35 This happened to me! There's this small Nature Preserve just north of where I live, it's close to an observatory. I went there one afternoon after work, the weather being so beautiful. I had recalled being there a couple of years ago with a friend and feeling some positive energy (called a geospiral) at one point on the trail. She didn't feel it, so we went on. This time I was by myself, felt the positive energy at that spot, and as I was soaking up the wonderful energy I started pondering from whence it originated. I started following the energy line up a ridge, and when I got to the top I noticed a most beautiful pond at the bottom. I looked behind me and figured I wasn't too far off the trail (about 50 yards) and it wouldn't be hard to find my way back, so I continued down the ridge to the pond. It looked and felt so peaceful and positively energetic! I even bent down to feel the water, so lovely! After a bit I turned around to go back, but I got so lost and turned around it was almost an hour by the time I found the trail again, and I ended up about 50 yards behind where I left it! It was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had, being an avid outdoorsman and Nature buff. But I think I'm better for the experience.

I am from Kentucky and my brother and me have had some faerie like experiences. There are spirits in the land perhaps from generations of native Americans. Beings and entities have appeared to me off and on throughout life but having encounters with my brother really solidified the strangeness of this world. No matter that we are veterans, fathers, workers and adults we are innocent in our heart of hearts where the elves and spirits came to us before. The experience was not something easily explainable in 3 dimensions, something intuitive, something the full moon helps show.+

I don't live in Galway but I visit regularly: a few years ago I planted a bunch of trees on a relative's land and I was clearing out some of the dug holes with my bare hands (don't like using gloves): it took 2 days - but for the next 4 weeks afterwards I felt as if I had been plugged into a mains: brimming with energy and focus and I felt great (I've always physically trained so I have plenty of energy anyway but this was different). When I explained this to people they would say "Well, it's the outdoors, clear air and you're working the land". No - I spent a lot of my childhood in the countryside. tbh I wasn't aware of the claims of restorative powers in this area until I came across Pat Noone for the first time this evening.

It is so fascinating to know that nature spirits exist. There is more to the Outerworld that meets the eye and I hope to go there someday.

A very interesting video. So lucky to live in Ireland. Older countries have so much to offer in beauty, structures and legends. I just love listening to the conversations of the Faeries. A lot of people who r interested in Faeries actually would benefit listening to the Irish farmer. Thank u for the great video. I always wanted to visit Ireland. I traced my family tree back to where my Great, Great, Great, Great, Great Grandmother came to the US from Ireland where she married a plantation owner in Virginia. I'm at the age now sadly where I will never see Ireland ,so, seeing videos helps. Thank u. Your video seemed so honest and sincere in its making. Thank u for this one. Btw I subcribed!!

aaar the scream of the banshea and the secrecy of the lepricorns, as green as Irish green , if you have the truth of love in your heart you have no fear as all of creation is part of the same conciousness , the love light of god.much love.

So much history and folklore! Here in Canada they like to bulldoze the land every ten or twenty years and build something bigger with more cement etc. Ireland has so much authentic timeless memories and traditions. Imagine having a huge earth mound knowing you have a 2 to 3 thousand year old "tel" or grave mound of some chieftain from antiquity! We also have fairies here but they wear colorful ties.

Thank you for making this video. I've been reading The Secret Commonwealth of Elves, Fauns & Fairies, and got me interested in what local people of this time believe about The Good People.
