Rousey vs Shevchenko would definitely lose. Shevchenko is a well rounded fighter. She can go hand to hand, good at ground fighting, her kicks & punches are accurate.

Society is so weird and I wonder what it truly means you know to feel happy and accomplished.... Because it's like Ronda Rousey has done amazing things like she was in the Olympics and being in the Olympics is enough to stand alone but she also became the champion but after she lost when she was on Ellen she was talking about thinking about ending her life. Imagine that? Societal pressure is so heavy that even if you do the most amazing things, you can still feel like nothing..... It's like validation externally is overrated. You can also look at it as vanity and grasping for the wind

Nessa Ronda foi favorecida. Ela deu a chave de braço, mas a adversária não bateu. O juiz encerrou a luta. Absurdo. Esse juiz, aliás, cometeu outros erros depois e não mais atuou. Ronda já era uma fera no judô. Seguramente, iria vencer no decorrer da luta. É sempre bom revê-la.

All Rhonda had was judo throws with a sprinkle of arm bars….can only crush cans like that for so long 💀

well she actually had power too. it’s just that she was never able to learn proper technique and defense with her striking bc of edmond.

"Все что было у Ронды..." Теперь найди у кого-то из современных бойцов-женщин хотя-бы сопоставимый уровень бросков и болевых как у Ронды, либо не кукарекай, сын собаки

I don't remember her beating cans. Alexis Davis, Sarah Kaufman, Miesha Tate, Cat Zingano; those were the best fighters Women's Bantam weight had to offer. But her number came up, just like it does for everybody.

I never thought much for Rousey, her armbars, her personality or all the hype. I knew as the sport evolved in the women's division, she was going to get hurt. Rousey never real evolved as a "fighter" that's why when she fought Holm, she had no answers. I think it would have gone the same way, if she fought Cyborg. Then when it came to her Nunes fight, I think that was the UFC's way of getting rid of Rousey. That was like putting Bob Sapp against Brock Lesnar. I'm just glad that Nunes not only finished Rousey, she smashed her arrogant ego as well.

I understand its great to know jiu jitsu , but like i wouldn't feel like i beat someones ass , or could beat everyones ass if its always about popping their joint out of place on purpose. In real life to defend yourself and your life, yes win. But its so wierd to get every win that way in the UFC. Like if it was only jui jitsu and wrestling match, than yeah.... But its just so repetitive I'm no expert, but it's just it feels weird cuz it's like the history of the fighting style seems like it came from a place of pure defense. Competitive fighting is offensive by nature so it's like it's using the style in such a weird way.

Everyone talks about Amanda's power, but she was also good at moving just enough to keep her opponents from landing blows. Rhonda got stunned too soon to get her grappling game going against Amanda. Holly Holm on the other hand demonstrated incredible takedown defense and Rhonda didn't have the skills to win on her feet. Most of her wins I think were largely because the pool of fighters in women's MMA just hadn't developed yet. She may have still won them but not with such ridiculous ease.

She rocked Holly once there in the first round.. but she shouldn't have stayed toe to toe with a kickboxer!? Just not wise.
