I should have provided more context. I benched him in a weekly league for Jack Flaherty who had two great matchups plus Imanaga’s second start this week is against the Dodgers. But yes, benching him for a single start against the road Rockies would be wild.

People didn’t draft houck? Lol. Well def add him over blanco that’s a no brainer. Obviously this will be blanco’s best career start while houck has shown he can be effective in the past

Having the entire podcast focus on overreactions telling you to pick up every player like we have no roster limits is useless. They should be focused on the performance of players we drafted instead of a bunch of players nobody was talking about picking. My league has transaction fees real life charges for every add so can't just make a ton of pick ups. It is crazy how they dismiss months of preseason draft prep and tell us we need to drop players for these guys.

Adding Blanco just because of this is a foolish move. This will be the best game of the season and by no means will indicate the average. Look at the last season stats.

It depends on your depth of league/who you're dropping. Scott said it right. There's a chance he ends up being good. Likely? No. But there's a chance, and if the guy you're dropping is also just a similar flier, who doesn't have such a nice start under his belt, it's worth making the move.

Update. Blanco one hit the Rangers after the nono, the rangers are up again and then the braves. If he does well in these next 2 starts, I guess you'd call him an ace?

Neither Blanco nor France will get optioned given some of the jobbers in the astros bullpen right now. At least one will slide to the pen. Or just keep a 6 man rotation until Garcia or LMJ come back.
