Please join in on our Rōnin “Combat Carbine” Course hosted by Whistling Pines Gun Club in Colorado Springs, CO. In this video, I talk over my personal “Combat Rifle” setup. Understand the evolutions in my training and operational experience that led me to this combat rifle setup. Join in as I talk over the optic zero, I prefer for urban combat and why. During my time on the Special Forces A-Teams, my M4 rifle was my individual primary weapon. not entirely wrong. He was right about using different inches of muzzle depending on close quarters vs ranged combat. the short muzzles operate smoother in buildings, like the smgs, while the longer guns are better for range. COD got it right

Lots of good information. Thank you. My youngest nephew was in a marine Recon unit he was in after 9/11. And so far I have most of the gear set up like what he had. That is just the issued rifle set up and the issued loadbearing equipment and stuff like that. Thank you for the awesome information. It is greatly appreciated

The tip about the brightness of the optic is incredible and definitely sounds like something you'd only pick up with experience. Cause I never even thought about that for zeroing your sight. But it totally makes sense. And practicing shooting with the cover over the front of your optic so that you can get used to not only shooting with both eyes open, but shooting when the elements or malfunctions occlude your optic.

Why people pay for this is beyond me but I'll let you in on the biggest industry secret, there isn't a single sf/sof guy that's going to tell let you in on real knowledge/training methods because they'd be breaking their NDA's, so what you get is common knowledge info regurgitated by a name. iamrockmon It wasn't an offensive joke, but a complementary one. Of course a Person like you would find what I said offensive cause you whave no salt(flavor). You truly believe this was offensive when in fact its a acknowledgement that the man carry's that same warrior spirit and teachings as other men that have walked this earth before him. Ronin if you are reading this it wasn't to offend you and I hope you got a laugh at my comment. And thank you for posting this video up. Will not lie, I never heard of him till cod An literally now its recommend me his whole training course. I've never done civ tactical training courses so that would probably be where his course would slipped past me. I would like to take his training program due to how he puts it into a real situation. I've always wanted a nice clean build on my m&p 15 for a CQB, and he made some great points for such build. So I'll end off with saying great work on your success thank you for your service brother, and helping those of us who walk behind you in hopes to make an impact as you have✊🏼
