@@Unodostres00 I didn’t say caught i said ends badly. That includes prison, falling out with family, drugs, assaults, death, addictions, serious assaults and grassing by fellow criminals (look at Marvin Herbert, Ricky Percival, The Essex Boys and many others (it can be a very dangerous back stabbing ‘look over your shoulder) way of life it happens to most in the end, ok not 99% but the higher up the tree you go that figure gets very high.

they are glorified and emulated mostly by young men who think they are the man...and this only got worse after the film 'Legend', where of course the ladies swooned after Tom Hardy and suddenly a bunch of young guys bought cheap suits, developed east london accents and started posturing 😂 the kray twins were no better than the sadists who get put away for life these days, but they have become folklore anti-heroes so their real nature is swept under the mat. similar to pablo escobar, anyone who was there at the time would tell you that they were low life scum and a menace to the general population, definitely NOT people to be admired
@robertchubb1518
@robertchubb1518 Жыл бұрын
You do have an absolute point..but they say in criminology this is in fact a science. People really did believe that with certain gangs (such as the Krays) they felt their community was a safer place. Yes this is subjective and indeed if one was paying them within your business through other means then I quite agree that they were a menace. But one undeniable fact was that although they had enemies..there was NOT this systemic crime that seems to go on now..with both politicians and policing being unable to curb this...and in some cases actually spurring it on! The natural instinct is therefore to turn to an underworld...a world where punishment is much more draconian and indeed more simplistic. Yes I agree the Krays were thugs...however look at what has superseded them....? (Only Edited as YT like to spellcheck utter shite..and get involved in words it knows nothing about...but cannot differ between a gap in between two words..god YT is CRAP)

Seriously they were a pair of skint amateurs who were hated by one and all. The white criminals in London who you'll never hear a word out of would chew them up and spit them out. They weren't even the heaviest firm in the east end got fucked off out the docks by proper firms who kept things low key and professional whilst Ronnie was whisking kids up town for the rich to fuck senseless. They then decide it's a good idea to top 2 respected gangsters in broad fucking daylight in front of witnesses. Rank amateurs. They would have last 5 minutes today. Ronnie would be carted off before his pubes had come in and Reg would be a normal bloke.
