Amy Grant released this song on her debut album back in 1976 as a dedication to Jesus and hen the following year Ronnie Milsap released his version as a romantic love song.

I dedicated this song to my mom, when I found out she was dying from cancer. She looked at me and said, "You have no idea what a difference youve made in our lives". Thank you so much for reacting to this.

@@tashajackson Thank you and going to watch now. I can’t wait till you hear more of Don Williams. He is my one of my favorites. He was one of my parents favorites. He was one of those artists that was genuine and down to earth and what a gift he had and that he was able to share with the world.

@@joeterp5615 While living in Nashville, ArchieJordan and his wife attended Bible study every week at a friend’s house, where they gather in the basement. And during one occasion, there were about twenty-five of them. Suddenly, a man stood up and shared his story. The man revealed that he came from a well-to-do family in Nashville. He was living a great life and was earning a lot of money. He had married a beautiful wife and was blessed with a daughter in their beautiful home. You could say that he’s indeed living the American dream. However, everything went downhill when he started drinking and doing drugs. He lost his job, his savings, and his home. One thing led to another that his wife got the end of it. She decided to divorce him and left the country with their daughter. “He was telling us this story, and he looked at us and said, ‘One day, I woke up and realized that I had nothing - no money, no home, and I had nobody. I finally came to the end of my rope, and I turned my life over to God and oh, what a difference He made in my life,'” Jordan recalled. The man’s testimony hit Jordan so hard that he started wondering how many people might feel that way. When he woke up the next morning, the lyrics and melody were like coming out of nowhere, and “What A Difference You’ve Made In My Life” was completed in just a short period of time.

@@tashajackson That's a term from the 50s and 60s. The cool "Beatniks" used to call each other that. Like, "Hey daddio, be cool!" Remember the movie "Back to the future?" Marty is in the fifties talking to his dad, and accidentally calls him dad and catches himself and says "dad...dad.. daddio!"

Let’s see now. Here is a guy who was who had a congenital disorder left him almost completely blind from birth and a mother that abandoned him as an infant. He was raised in poverty by his grandparents in the Smoky Mountains until he was sent to a School for the blind at age 5. Talk about having a rough start in life!
