Beacause when the pink ball was potted, its own spot was occupied by the reds.. hence it goes to the highest value spot available.. which was black spot at that time.. if the black was on its own spot(and all other colors) then it would have been placed nearest to its own spot.. when the black is potted its own spot is occupied by the pink.. but the pink spot is available which the highest value spot available.. hence it goes to the pink spot..

to put it simply, you can't be sure if it's people giving thumbs down. All more popular videos has dislikes because of bots, who want to be seen as genuine users to KZfaq algorithm and not be deleted. (mostly sub bots or view count boosting bots services)
