I would like to see Ronnie O'Sullivan at the 2001 UK Championship where he was dominant in the final against 1997 world champion, Ken Doherty.

O'Sullivan's when in form from 2004 to 2014 was unbeatable.Some have got close on occasion but none equalled never mind bettered.Others only started to take over in 2019 when O'Sullivan's Level dropped due to age.The best player by a mile.since 2000 he's won 6 world titles 5 uks and 6 masters and that's despite not playing in about 3 or 4 uk and masters in that time and the fact he won the world title in 2012 and defended it without playing for a year is something we won't see again I would think and the 5 mins 8 seconds 147 won't be beaten either especially at the world championship I would also think.God gifted talent that makes a very hard game look simple which has to be the hardest thing to do.Simply unreal and even now if he really wants despite being closer to 50 than 40 he could win at least another 10 tournaments if he really tried his very best because his B game is more than good enough.Still the only player to win major tournaments with a brand new cue as well.

So the 2007 UK Championship. The highlight was his semi final against Mark Selby, the first of their many battles. On this occasion, Ronnie edged it with a maximum. He was dominant against 2004 winner Stephen Maguire in the final but the latter would beat Ronnie in an epic Masters match, particularly the remaining colours of a gripping final frame.
