Ronnie whitewashes several players including Whirlwind and King of crucible, if one time he is whitewashed by Mark so what, it's a game. Ultimately both are world class players and also most senior. Still a big hand for Mark, he played extraordinary, no doubt.

I mean wow. Ronnie didn't even seem to play bad. Played lots of great pots, and had a few bad breaks when splitting the pack. Fair play to Mark for playing that well, not sure I've seen anyone play that well whilst Ronnie is still playing well.

Snooker players are probably the best for calling fouls on themselves, question is , why didnt OSullivan speak up after missing 3 times, when there was an obvious full ball he could hit, He must have known, or does he think hes above the rules, Ok the ref made a mistake and apologised straight way, Come on Ronnie your better than that.

I remember it as if it was yesterday, Mark Selby losing a match to O´Sullivan when he was 68 in front. Ronnie was 0 at the score and Mark missed a pot. Ronnie won by 72. I saw the humiliation stamped on Selby´s face. Today it was payback time for O´Sullivan. The world is every day going round about, he who today is on the top, will be at the bottom tomorrow, no doubt about it. A whitewash is a good lesson. 🙄🙄😏😏😁😁😎😎🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍👍👍👍

They are not friends simply bc Selby has class and Ronnie does not and will never have and he knows it, no matter if he's the Goat and this bullshit they say. Players like these must show something more that their play and Ronnie only shows bad feelings, rubbish in a word, like not conceding frames 73-3 down for instance to Selby 2:13

LOL. Selby´s "class" is deliberately slowing the game to annoy the opponent. It was clearly evident here, where Selby thought for over a minute, even though it was clear from the first second that there was no better option than to let Ronnie play the same thing again. 3rd frame mark missed an easy shot ...you have to be millimeters accurate with every shot ..your cueing has to flow

I gotta thanx, alas not for your comments but for posting so many and not worrying about it. Sometimes, I comment more than once and find myself saying sorry b4 stating whatever....and not being a Selby fan. I know that he's put every effort into beating Ronnie (probably only passionate play of season), and after whitewashing snooker's 🐐 then lost in next round(I mean thrashing the best ever can't motivate at least winning tournament, let alone next round-poor, and pitiful for his fans) so surprised someone was willing to admit so many times their devotion to him 😉

Mark Selby whitewashes the Rocket. The Rocket failed to launch and imploded on the launch pad. Ronnie needs to have the crap kicked out of him once in a while to keep him humble. I am glad to see Mark coming out of his slump.

Undoubtedly, ronnie lose first frame because of the referee, after three missed, he think that he would have losed the frame, then he intentionally whack the cue hitting full ball to let mark get this frame, As the commentator said , we are all human that can make error.

mark played like 2-3 good shots in this match. ronnie played 4-5 good shots. they both played shit overall it's just that mark's used to playing like that. bad match, shame ronnie didn't turn up today. mark will do well to win another match against ronnie.
