I did a full hour long live on Ronnie and all of the controversy and not only is he not suing me, he messaged me out of nowhere on TikTok to thank me. Simply because I didn’t lie on the man. I didn’t smut him, I didn’t try to villainize him for clicks. He’s actually a really chill dude and I would feel the exact same way if I was him. Ronnie has been to prison and you don’t try to put a bad jacket on a dude who has been in a place where that gets you killed

You can't expect Ronnie to look at the title "EVIL MUSICIAN STORIES" with his face front and center and think that what the guy is saying is going to be fine. Yeah it's clickbait but it's also damaging his reputation online to thousands of people who see it. And they don't even have to watch the entire video segment where he speaks about Ronnie. Just the title and thumbnail is more than enough for the public to see and believe that Ronnie is evil. Then they google his name and see even more hit piece videos and articles and reddit threads and they jump to a conclusion that has no evidence backing it up. Even the guy that made the video didn't even do his research before making BS comments about stuff he knows nothing about. You think the viewers are going to go and do their research now too? No, they're just going to run with the false narrative they're being fed and believe the lies and half truths that everyone too lazy to properly google says is true. Ronnie has every right to go and sue the people spreading lies and defaming his character.

I totally agree with Ronnie suing Fantano, but I don’t agree with him suing Vizzy! I watched Vizzy’s video, and he wasn’t bashing Ronnie. He was just explaining the reasons why people find Ronnie a “evil” musician, and he even said all of the reasons except for the mic stand incident were all false claims that were already proven false. I hope Ronnie rewatches Vizzy’s video and gives him an apology for the misunderstanding.

Like all things, I don't care about this situation itself but what it's going to spark for the future. If these lawsuits go through, I'm worried that any upcoming artist with a big ego and a decent/large following is going to think that they can just DMCA or copyright claim or sue KZfaqrs that criticise them for any reason. Lets not forget he copyright claimed all of Brad Taste In Music's videos when he gave everyone else permission to listen/ react to his music.

He will have to prove that it's actually effected his career or reputation. As it stands now, his most popular song to date All My Life is a massive hit despite the click bait headlines and inflammatory statements.

@@MullilluM But it has affected his reputation and career. It's an every day battle against the false accusations still being thrown around to anyone who will listen. That's damage to his reputation right there. As far as his career, it also has most certainly been affected negatively. A band like A7X that were bringing him on tour last year had to hear from the public and do their own research and discuss amongst themselves whether or not it was a smart move to bring him on tour with the (false) allegations around him. Then Ronnie had another band Spiritbox drop off their tour just because their (very few) fans didn't want them to be associated with him in any way. So now Ronnie has smaller bands dropping off and putting him in a bind to find replacements, having his (false) allegations and past brought up in the media again, more potential fans now distancing themselves from him over this BS. Then bigger bands having to weigh heavily the decision on if he's worth the risk to bring with them and therefore possibly costing him a chance to reach a more massive fanbase. Every time someone speaks on this matter, it hurts his reputation and career. Having a huge radio rock hit doesn't change the fact that his bread and butter income is being hurt or potentially at risk if an artist bigger than him decides to believe the clickbait headlines, or if an artist smaller than him quits and takes potential customers and fans away.

@@blacksunshine9995 He has not lost an ounce of money from this stuff, and his recent tour announcements are basically completely sold out. He will have to prove without a doubt. Not based on the conjecture that you have. He needs solid proof that he has suffered monetarily based on the lies, otherwise there is no case. Wall o text is not enough to convince me, and it's surely not enough to prove to a judge in civil court. Don't get me wrong, I like his music AND I like him as a personality. Something we've been missing in the rock scene, but these kinds of cases are very hard to prove.

Lesson for "Influencers" defamation is real and Ronnie has receipts as many of us do who have been in the industry and accused of lies. Be careful, it's 2024 and you can be sued into a tent living situation for life. Your attempt for clicks can be the nail in your coffin for sure. Anthony deserves to get sued no doubt. I love Ronnie and have dreams of collaborating with him one day, but I think he might be experiencing a bit of a breakdown. I can't say I blame him. His whole career he's been dogged on and had false accusations thrown at him. He's clearly tired of it. I pray he finds some clairity.

Inasmuch as I'm not a huge fan of Fantano and I think he's kind of a snob, he's likely to win any particular sort of lawsuit because he's either reported factually on what has been news, or expressed opinion("This guy sucks" is a pretty clear statement of opinion, along with statements regarding moral character such as opining on shittiness, quality of music, or cowardice.) Ronnie could run into anti-SLAPP legislation, depending on the jurisdiction.

All he did was call him evil in the title pretty much, which there's nothing illegal about expressing that opinion. Anthony is trying to stir up drama by implying RR is a rapist amoung other things on a wide platform KZfaq channel. You can't do that. That is text book defamation.

I really don't think Radke has much of a case considering how many threats of violence Radke has made online toward others (including critics). If he tries to sue for this stuff, it'll have a massive backlash toward him.

I can't stand Ronnie or his music but I don't need to bring up false allegations against him that have been exhaustively disproven to criticize him when I can just stick with the facts. It's grasping at low hanging fruit to drive up easy engagement instead of being factual and it would piss anyone off. Imagine the shit storm that would happen if someone started spreading lies that Anthony Fantano totally grooms kids or something and each time he proved it was a lie people ignored the truth and kept pushing the lie that Fantano totally grooms kids and shouldn't be allowed near schools and parks etc
