J Burton's possible outcomes in Dynasty. A - I draft him, he street races into a family dining room and punches the mom in the head. B - Someone else drafts him, he becomes the Bengal's WR1 over J Chase.

I haven't heard anyone mentioning this guy yet, but the WR that the Chargers drafted after B.Rice in the 7th round is possibly a super sneaky sleeper! Cornelius Johnson is one of only 2 Michigan alum that Harbaugh brought in with him through the draft. He was a 3 year starter for the offense across from R.Wilson. Obviously, Wilson outproduced him but imo that was more bc of the offensive system in place and the type of QB McCarthy is: typically favoring shorter, easier to complete passes to parts of the field that Wilson excelled in. But Johnson has a well-rounded skill set, good size and excellent hands and offers a lot of what the Chargers are lacking from most of their other WRs in terms of a true X receiver. The other thing to note is during the combine Johnson's athletic testing was much better than anyone anticipated, proving he has a lot of traits worthy of the NFL. Also everything I've found from average Michigan fans who say they've watched all their games always talk about how reliable this guy was, always coming in clutch making big catches whenever the team needed it

Oh man that’s a good question and fairly subjective to both league settings and your personal preference of style of play. I don’t mind blowing all my faab early depending on the circumstance

Our rookie draft is a bid format. Who would be your top 3-4 ‘must draft’ targets to address needs for this win-now team? QB: TLaw, Fields, D Jones, Carr 🤮 RB: JT, Saquon, Swift, Javonte, Dowdle 💪 WR: JJ, AJB, DJM, Aiyuk, Ridley, Sutton, Downs, Dotson, J Palmer 🔥 TE: Pitts, Njoku ✅ 2-PPR, SF, non TEP, 6 point passing TD. Start three flex, 10-team league. I’m thinking it’s just all QB… Grab as many as I can from this class… very aggressive bids… haven’t been able to address through trades… The other thought was BTJ for the TLaw stack… or Nabers with Janiel Dones…

Yea Andrew you’ve always valued those stacks way more than we really do, it’s nice I guess but not something I’m letting sway any decision making tho. You certainly need a QB but with only a couple aging pieces you could really do a mini rebuild/retool and still be in good position so I don’t think I’d force anything too hard. The auction bid is a beautiful thing, the key is if you have enough money to not let someone go for a steal and price enforce when you can but still be okay ending up with that player ya know? If things didn’t go your way in the draft you could move Saquon and ABJ and be back on the path to youth and be in good shape come the following year

Yea most rookie drafts don’t go 5 rounds either so this list was more of 3rd and 4th round guys…still that’s surprising none of these guys fell to you, maybe your league mates are watching this vid too ha

Guess it depends on who it is, faab is fairly personal preference…does your league allow for 0$ claims moving forward or do you have to have at least 1$ for each move?

Man, Burton is so tempting for all the reasons you mentioned, but I'm avoiding him due to the character issues. He wore out his welcome at two different major programs, and I don't think the NFL will be nearly as patient. But if he gets his head on straight, I agree that he could be a huge smash!

Because winning a fantasy football league requires the players to be great guys, lol. If you have a 'do not draft' list with all the guys who have questionable characters, you're going to have a terrible team.

@@kylemorris4466 Lol that's ridiculous, there are more than enough players out there that don't punch women etc to be on my fantasy team. I'm not expecting everyone to be perfect or a saint, but yeah I specifically don't want that guy on my team, and I feel the same about DeShaun Watson too. If my team suffers for it a little, then so be it. And also, guys like Burton who have a track record usually don't suddenly become model citizens as soon as they have money and the NFL limelight.

Jermaine Burton has off the field issues and I think that's something to take into account even in fantasy. I'm glad I don't have rashee Rice

It’s definitely something to take into account no doubt about that, it’s also basically impossible to predict how someone will or won’t adapt to the NFL…but he’s got a 3.01 ADP in rookie drafts right now which late 2nd early 3rd is an okay spot to gamble on high upside ya know? This risk is baked into the price

He evidently has matured after his issues. I don’t see the off field issues being a factor at all personally. He took responsibility for his mistakes and I personally believe he has learned and will be just fine. He is going to be one of the best picks in this rookie class, value wise.
