You are no rookie!!! thats a beutiful truck..... rookies don't have clean trucks like that plus i did not hear any cursing,,,,,, your pretty professional. The backing was amazing cause you knew how to correct yourself and you wished you had a spotter!! Every body needs help at some point in time. Well done Video especially cause you had it on your head!lol

Places like that always make me sarcastic. I always find the people in charge or the people loading and unloading if they would like to put anything else in the way while I am here. Lol

I don't drive, nor do I really have an interest in doing so, just have an interest in the subject. However, from an outside point of view, I couldn't give a rats ass if someone with a bigger truck came in and got in fine, this isn't a dick measuring competition, your lot should accommodate trucks of different sizes and drivers of different skill so they can get in and get out instead of wasting time and money to move shit like these clowns had to. Which these morons should have never had shit sat in front of the dock to begin with.

Holy cripes. I dunno. In my day I had a 280" 379 and a 48', 102" wagon and I thought that was a pain in the...butt. A 53' with wind feelings, belly box and no comment on the air lines per your instruction. That's a feat! It's your world, now. I just live vicariously in it lol.

I own/drive a Pete 379 w/a 314” wheelbase pulling a 48’ spreadaxle flatbed. Can’t tell you how many spirited discussions I’ve had over the last 22 yrs. with jobsite/yard personnel advising them why I couldn’t get the rig into their “site” on account of space restrictions. Most times they’ll tell me that “everybody else makes it” till I walk them out to the street ask them if “anybody else” looked like mine! You learn fast to NEVER bring a long wheelbase combo in until you first walk it......

receivers can be the worst thing to happen to a truck for sure, one time I was in new York city with a brand spanky new trailer fresh from the trailer mfg with its first load ever in it, the dock I needed to get to was back down a alley and hook it to the drivers side then down a narrow passage with brick walls on both sides, the blind side wall was scraped to all hell, I told the receiver there was no way I could get my 53 footer around that bend and into the hole, he told me oh just put it up agienst that wall and shove it in there that's how everyone else does it... told him if he wanted to hand me a check for the trailer I would hand him the title and back it in, needless to say I was hand unloaded on the street in front of the store..

That is a bad place. You could slide your trailer tandems all the way to the front and it will help some. I hauled new furniture for many many years and we kept them forward about all the time. You could have up to 30 drops on one trailer so a lot of backing up and going down alleys.
