Hello, I'm Rie, a Japanese female guitarist. Currently, we are holding concerts mainly in Tokyo.
She has composed all the songs herself and has released 14 CD albums to date.
If she gets the chance, she would be happy if she could listen to other songs as well.

Awesome band , great sound. Kanade Sato is a fantastic drummer. I have been watching her since she was a little girl, she is an amazing drummer playing with a great band. All the best ladies!

Every good group starts with a base to build their music from. In this case, we got Kanade Sato, the little girl grown up and now a fantastic drummer. Then we add juna Serita a world class bassist. With the Jazz Avengers, we have Senri Kawaguchi on drums and Juna Serita on Bass...... the same with Tokyo Groove Jyoshi. A great drummer and Juna on bass.....any wonder these groups are great?!?!???

本家は本家で、MusesはMuses。ジェフ・ポーカロ、奏ちゃんそれぞれのグルーヴ感あるし、シンバルがPAiSTEではないしそもそも楽器や機材も異なるからね♪ それぞれ楽しめればそれでOK！

本家の雰囲気は残しつつ、らしさを出していて、なおかつどの奏者もワールドクラスで久しぶりに集中して聴き入ってしまった。まさか、自分よりだいぶ年下の方々にここまで、懐かしい曲で魂を揺さぶれるとは。こうして名曲は受け継がれていくのかもしれませんね。

フュージョンが好きで、20年くらいディメンションとかとトリックスとか、最近ではここもすごいディゾルブとか聞いていますが、Musesもすごいですね。自然発生したバンドとは思えない。フュージョンが次の世代へ継承ですね。

The rhythm track on this song sounds like something Steely Dan would do. Also, Larry Carlton himself plays some Steely Dan songs. The Muses covered this perfectly!

When I suggested in the comments section of another video that Ms. Suzaku acquire a 335 I didn't quite mean this. I still find it interesting that she chooses to play this sort of music on what's considered a metal guitar but I would also like to hear a different sound from her once in a while. I think a semi-hollowbody would be just the thing to sing in her hands.

I like her choice of guitar. It’s a nod to her metal roots, and to me has so much more character and emotion than a dull jazz box.

Here is an excellent cover of a Larry Carlton classic. If I may be so bold, as a musician of some 61 years. Please may I ask you simply to slow it up a little. I feel that the speed isn't "grooving" quite right. It isn't sitting comfortably. Also the guitar solo is a little to "overdriven". Perhaps just lighten the sustain up a little. Other wise not a bad attempt. Well done!

Room 335は大学生時代から20年かなり聞き込み、ギターも弾き込み、相当深掘りしてきたが、ベースの娘の太ももが一番良い仕事している。

ドラムとベースとキーボードはオリジナルに忠実。ギターがメタルサウンド。素晴らしいと思う。個人的には、個性も大切だが、是非とも「曲に合ったギターと歪み」の中で醸し出す「何か」を見つけて欲しいなぁ。あと、全員笑顔で！😊

エレピ音色が柔らかすぎるとギター音色とフレーズがメタルっぽいので別物の感じですね。あんまりコピー過ぎないのでいいと思います。

Perhaps some guy suggested the stage attire. I'm more offended by the occasional from-the-floor camera angles on Ms.Suzaku. This is a band of accomplished musicians, not models. I'd like to see the live videos treat them that way.
