Hello and welcome back to theHunter: Call of the Wild! In today's episode, we head back to Vurhonga Savanna to test out the .300 Canning Magnum. You guys have been asking me to use it for ages, and with the amount of big game in Africa, there's no better map to test it out on! Come join Pablo and I as we explore the beaches in search of Cape buffalo, and hidden lakes in search of lions. Will we manage to take down the biggest animal I've EVER seen, or will this gun ruin everything...? Keep watching to find out!

Rooster a general guide is you can run to about 200m then walk to 120 the chrouch orcrawl up if u wanna get even closer so you don’t spook them. Love your videos!!!

Now some animals they are spooking alittle sooner then that with this update. This was 100% accurate before update but now i find they spook at 220 instead of 200

This suggests you have the Skills that lower your sound and visibility. Because I have the less sound but none of the visibility skills and they seem to notice me way sooner than that. Even if I'm up at the top of a lookout tower and call them in, they'll flee once they get within 120 or so and I can only assume it's because they see me. Some animals, like Elk, have incredible vision (experts say some species of elk can see the rings of Saturn on a clear night).

There's a couple of signs at the top corner of the map by the water; there's a bridge that goes to out-of-bounds and the signs next to it say "look out for Crocodiles." I'm sure they've been there since the map released in 2019 but now that Crocs are in the game officially, backfilling them to Vurhonga will be a lot easier.

You can save harvest as well as tax them, saved harvests are available from the trophy manager.

Yo roster the 300 I's the best gun in the game rooster when I seen the biggest animal I've seen I said random guess he got a dim Cape but I was joking lol Rooster always shoot a Cape buffalo when it's facing you have wat better chance getting a lung than broadside for the Cape the Cape buffalo have a bug were you get no penetration even with the best bullets 😮

Yo rooster a tip for shooting while the animals r moving is when they r trotting aim jst barely in front of the animal and when they’re running aim a little more in front so u get the a lead shot and a higher chance of hitting a vital

I have never actually properly played this game and i’ve all of a sudden got this urge to play it … cannot wait for it to download. I’ve been playing Snowrunner but it crashes every 10 mins (On series X) so i’ve decided to give this a go for a different simulator feel. Beautiful game.

You're not doing something right then. Every map has diamond and rare initial spawns somewhere on the map. I just recently bought all the maps. Even with that, I have 0-2 diamonds per map. It's just luck, and walking around every square inch of the map

I've recently bought myself the xbox one X edition of Call of the wild. I honestly love your video, it helps me understand the game better. i'd love to see more silver ridge peaks. PS. I don't know if you've finished the Silver ridge peak story missions. You should, they require no hunting, only a Quad for you to drive around. It sums up to pretty much investigating incidents. No hunting just driving around and taking in the lore / scenery. You can also find some cool albinos like me whilst you drive around.
