would this be useful in order to use the sd card to install apps and store their data? my device is always filling up and it's getting slow as hell

Yes you can install apps on sd card using root but actually this device is slower because of its processing power

I tried doing this over and over with a couple different cables. Two different ports on two separate machines. I keep getting stopped when Odin puts up NAND Write Start and it just hangs there. No progress bar, nothing. Waited a solid like 10 minutes to see if anything would happen. Nope. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers and multiple sources for the drivers. Nothing.

does it work for T515N Korean version? because i tried to flash TWRP it says custom binary blocked by OEM LOCK but i ave tick allowed oem lock in settings

Use latest version of your rom. You are flashing twrp on old firmware

This is not working properly, getting errors during flashing the TWRP image to SM-T515, so I always have to revert to the stock rom

hi i keep following your instruction however OEM unlocking isnt available in developer options, when i try to flash TWRP it fails every time i can recover using odin back to stock fine but never flash TWRP

U exceed the limit of modifications so samsung locked the device this takes time to get in to original condition. You need to trick the time setting to remove the lock

Then for that Lock the bootloader again and startup the device when setting up device in select date select 2022 year then set the device up when the device gets boot up then again follow the step to unlock the bootloader when doing these step again you will able to successfully see the OEM unlocking option again thank you

No looking from outside doesn't mean they are similar in internal, both are different and you can't use it on your device.

Does anyone know why my tablet wont work with a new sim? 3g is ok, but no calls or text. Says MM No voice allowed. Its not blacklisted. I tried 3 different sim providers and EE, O2 , Tesco. EE wont work at all. O2 works data 3g no call, text and Tesco Mobile, data, no call or text. It was working OK a few months ago , but now not working calls/text. Is the Samsung update causing problems with this SM T515 model?? The sims all work fine on my mobile phones. Any way to fix this problem with root?

Odin write failed means your device is went into RRM lock state. Just download and flash latest stock firmware Use this app download firmware as per your region kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eM1yZbh9y9qwlXk.html

Before doing this first flash your stock rom using Odin and then do following steps: Go to settings > time and date, now disable automatic time and change your date to 8 days after today's date means if today is 24 change it to 1/11/2021 now reboot your phone again go to software update, check update confirm that update checked for modified date i.e 1/11/2021. Now again go to date and time and enable automatic time and then boot to bootloader mode and flash.

Yes, I already unlocked the bootloader and rooted still I am getting stock updates but to flash them you need to fully download the update no small incremental update will be possible. Also, even if you face issues in updates you can manually flash updates using this app: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eM1yZbh9y9qwlXk.html It's easy as hell!

@@4utech update everything worked fine after removing bootloader (locking it) and then setting the date to 2 August 2019 and reenabeling bootloader and then it worked flawlessly thanks ^^

Also there are some things like incomplete OEM unlocking of device. Please repeat OEM unlocking with wifi network connected to your device from start like enabling developer options. Enable usb debugging and oem unlocking settings.

Unlock your Bootloader again, there is issue in that because it's showing write failed.
