In this video, I will show you how to propagate lavender cuttings in water in winter. Rooting lavender cuttings in plain water is a simple process where you start with taking cuttings off the lavender bush. You can do it at the same time when you prune your lavender - see video here: • How to Prune Lavender
Upon selection of good and healthy cuttings, cut off the bottom bit of the stems, apply pressure to flatten, dip in cinnamon powder (instead of rooting hormone) and place them in a masons jar or plastic container 3/4 filled with clean, preferably rainwater. Keep the jar indoors, near the window, changing the water twice a week.
