Hey Guys!
In this video I go over the design and construction of my garden bed design for my lovely wife Jess at Roots and Refuge.
This is the 3rd version of these beds and I hope you get a lot of useful tips and information out of this video for your own garden bed projects.
Thanks for stopping in!

Idk who’s more excited about this channel, me or my hubby. I showed this to him yesterday and he said “heck yeah, finally…farmers with honey-do lists UNITE ✊🏼” 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 Not that we women won’t be doing some of these things as well when need be, but I want to give a huge shout out to our men folk…we appreciate y’all and all the hard work y’all put in! I couldn’t do it without my own Sweet Beau 💯☺️

Hello Miah, congratulations. I have learned so much from you over the years. I recently experienced an unexpected divorce (after 38 years of marriage, my husband informed me he wants to date). So, I will be doing a lot of building things myself, because I am starting a small urban farm here in California. I will keep watching and learning. I am an elementary school teacher, and Master Gardener. Yet, Miah, You are my "Master Teacher!" Happy Sunday to you, and your family, please tell Jess, "Hello from California. I Love tomatoes too!"

Hey, How are you? I'm a teacher (reading coach this year). My husband passed away in 2019. I've asked the Abundance community to hold a woodworking class for inexperienced, but want to build things. There's nothing like someone showing you how do things, but I need guidance to try to do it myself.

Agree - actually seeing video of how you do the details with a little more explanation would be a great help, including the mitre saw. Take a measurement from corner to corner diagonally lengthwise. Example, number your corners 1, 2, 3, and 4. The measurement from corners 1 to 3, should equal measurement from corners 2 to 4. If not, push in on 1 of the corners on the longer measured corners until both measurements equal each other. I know this answer is a year old, but I hope it still helps. Good luck in your garden.

🎉Another fantastic video! Rather overbuild than under build, heck yeah! I wish I had this tutorial years ago because that is similar to how I built my garden beds at my old house, but yours it much better and you only needed one center support. I used thinner wood that needed more supports. You also folded your metal into the corners, fantastic idea and looks great! See, I learn something new everyday. They turned out really amazing, I'm sure that Jess is over the moon with them! Job well done!
