Lu. Honermeier mit einem Ropa Tiger 6 und einem Holmer T4-30 bei der Frührodung der Rübenkampagne 2020. Für die Bunkerleerung sind zwei Fendt jeweils mit Krampe Kipper im Einsatz. Viel spaß beim anschauen.
Harvesting beets with a Ropa Tiger 6 and a Holmer T4-30 by a local contractor. Two Fendt tractors with Krampe tippers are used to empty the bunkers. Have fun watching.

What a video, so so beautiful. Those sounds makes it hard to sit still. I'm loving the sound and photo quality. I bet the headlands get a lot of weight on them though. Do you know if the field gets plouhed after harvest and what kind of crop will be seeded the following year?

Sogar bei dem neuesten Videos, das mit dem neuen Volvo Radlader, hab ich mich echt gefragt wo denn dieses verda... Krächzen herkommt. Ist mein Monitor oder gar mein PC kaputt???? Great video and greets Stefan. The way those machines can offset those rear wheels would get me in a muddle, I think I would end up with the rear overtaking me at the front. What is the reason they can 'offset' them like that - obviously there is one, but what is it .? Cheers Chris.

It's because the harvester causes less ground compression this way, of course it's more square meters but not that deep. We call it dog gear or maybe dog walk, into german these words have the same translation and I don't know where it's coming from... By the way how do you like my English?

@@Zottelini Your English is excellent, - a lot better than a good few English, - that is if they could be bothered to speak (and spell) the language properly. Instead of staring at these 'computer games' which seems to be the main occupation of the young in our Country at the moment. - (present circumstances excepted).

@@landtechnikmv-agriculturalvide Hi Stefan, yes that is what we would call it. I think Case and a couple of other US makers tried it in the '60's. but it didn't catch on. The French LATIL timber tractor made in the '30's. was fairly similar. As you turned the front wheels to the right the rear pair turned to the left, basically the idea was you could literally drive around a tree. I had one for a while in the early '70's. The only thing you had to be careful of was not parking close to a kerb - I soon learnt not to, as the only way to get out of it was to run the winch cable across the road and literally drag the rear away from the kerb, - I had to pay several Councils for posts I bent doing that, believe me I soon learned not to park close to a kerb. That´s a funny story Chris, learning by doing ;)) but this is about soil protection, a full loaded three-axle beet harvester weighs around 60 tons (it´s the weight of a tank), so they try to distribute this over the widest possible area to keep the ground pressure low. Greets Stefan

ich hab da mal ne frage , warum geht an der seite immer der bügel hoch am förderband wenn er anfängt die rüben zu ernten ? hat das ein bestimmten grund ?

Der Bügel klappt hoch, sobald der Hundegang eingeschaltet wird, er soll wohl davor schützen das keiner unter die Räder kommt. Greets Stefan

Der Hundegang ist zur Bodenschonung, so rollen die Räder nicht alle über die selbe spur, ein vollbeladener 3Achser hat das Gewicht eines Panzers. Greets Stefan

Большое спасибо, это так называемое крабовое рулевое управление, полностью загруженный харвестер с тремя осями весит около 70 тонн, поэтому вы пытаетесь распределить давление на почву по большей площади. Greets Stefan

Ropa ist ja eh der Vorreiter, Paintner hat ja den ersten Selbstfahrer entwickelt, Holmer baute dann in zusammenarbeit mit Paintner die erste Serie (Holmer - System Paintner) bis Paintner dann Mitte der 80er Jahre Ropa gründete, die Maus ist auch aus einem Auftrag der Südzucker an Paintner entstanden.
