G'day Andy You have to watch those back edges of boat ramps. I've seen boats that think the ramp goes a long way in but low tide will reveal that all you see is all your gonna get. As a result trailer goes over the back edge and they can be very difficult to pull back up. I carry chocks for the back wheels of the truck. It's not easy solo but have that landing net ready in case of frayed line or hooks not in properly or both. Many good snags in that creek as primary targets for barra and gutters as well. I like side creeks too where you parked up flicking even around the front of them can be productive. It is spectacular scenery looking down from the sky. The Major🎩 BB🎣🔪🤙👍👌😀✅️

CARNY next time you are in a town go to chemist an get citronella Oil i think it comes in 50 and 100 ml bottles then get Dettol and baby oil grab a spray bottle mixture for gear equal parts of Dettol and baby Oil you don't need much Citro about 3 or 4 drops in a 500 ml bottle Mozie's midges an fly hate it Dettol helps with bites you already have and baby Oil makes it stay on you it's not a bad smell but it lingers good stuff and cheaper than the other stuff . HEY, you know why they put Aeroguard in a tin hey to stop the Mozie's eating it HA HA.

Hi Andy, it seems that the Roper is suffering the same fate as the Limmen. Lots of small barra that make it through the mesh from the Pro's nets. Those hooks bite, hahaha, at least it was superficial and not full gape. The knife wont help next time unless you used to be a boner in the meat works. Cheers mate from the Darkside.
