For this song he used an electric sitar to give an oriental touch and he got it with Pete Townshend, guitarist of The Who

Hi Geoff , I noticed if I use the F add 9 and a C add 9 it works alot better for me please your finger is on B3 anyway. Rory was a good guitarist that came from nothing and taught himself but he must've been a helluva drinker to have so many medical issues so young and then die from a staff infection. Another good lesson, thanks Geoff. Peace 🕊️.
