At a first glance, they aren’t the same especially in any sort of mannerisms but if you look closely at how Logan bears the pressures of living up to family’s expectations, Christopher went through that. This is even more pronounced in A Year in the Life where he now appears to have lost most of that charm we know he has and is now this docile person seemingly working for his family but doesn’t seem happy, mirroring Christopher. Somehow, even though Logan/Christopher loves Rory/Lorelai, there’s just something that holds it all back. This is my interpretation anyway. If ASP had written all the previous seasons, I think Logan would have been frustrating. From everything we have on GG, Luke fits Lorelai and Logan fits Rory as things are, in my opinion.

Ik im reallllllyyyyy late but I have a feeling during that scene she was purposefully trying to make it seem over the top and ridiculous.

I don't know why so many guys are so critical of Alexis' crying. With Richard, her ever loving grandpa who is also her somewhat surrogate father, she was asking for help badly so she's begging him for understanding especially she first asked for that understanding from her mom who decided to blow her off instead. That cry, to me anyway, was a cry of desperation. She badly needed her grandpa's compassion. Her cry with the therapist was different cause she was irritated that she had to do it to comply with the school rule. That was stated during her phone conversation with her mom(Lorelai even said 'I'm sorry you're a nut'). One has to look at the whole situation and why the actor is "acting" in a certain way, I believe. Now, her cry when Logan was leaving for London shows us how deeply she loves him, especially when she ran to the door tears streaming down her face and she could barely wave her hand to say goodbye. Alexis is a wonderful actress evidenced by her EMMY for her role as a handmaid in A Handmaid's Tale. Bravo, Alexis ⭐
