The issue of Logan and Rory is hard for me to discuss without getting carried away or defensive because the show’s original run & the revival makes it pretty damn obvious that Logan not Jess is the man that Rory Gilmore is in love with and it’s not okay for people to diminish the seriousness of Logan and Rory’s relationship simply because they would rather she be with Jess. At the same time, it’s not okay for people to put so much of Rory’s faults and mistakes on Logan while giving so much of the credit to Jess for her successes. Also, Logan changed a lot of his priorities so he could be better for Rory. Logan doesn’t get enough credit for his commitment and efforts to make her happy and yes, he screwed up but she was never the perfect angel that everyone thought she was and expected her to be at all times. And Jess is not blamed enough for the way he treated Rory. He came in and out of her life always assuming that he was the person that knew her better than anybody else. He showed up months after he had up and left with no goodbye even though she was sitting next to him on the bus he was taking out of town but he said he loves her so that was supposed to erase everything? A few years later he shows up again and although Logan acted like an ass... so did Jess because he had no right to yell at her and lecture her about anything. Yet, somehow Logan ends up being the bad guy because he loves Rory enough to support her in whatever she does even if he believes it’s a mistake? Should Logan have dumped her for quitting Yale to weigh her options and make sure she really does want to be a journalist or should he have refused to talk to her because she was having doubts and she was not sticking to the plan she had made when she was four like her mother did because Rory’s not allowed to change her mind. Also, while on the subject of her mother, Logan was prejudged by Lorelai because he was from a rich family. Yet, people say that Logan is Rory’s Christopher and Jess is her Luke but that makes no sense because when Richard had his heart attack... who was there for Rory and Lorelai? Logan and Luke were the ones who were with them even though Lorelai and Christopher were married at the time. In the revival, Rory and Jess talked about how they had not seen each other in four years even though he lived in Philadelphia while she saw and spoke with Logan all the time. When she was upset Rory didn’t call Jess because they obviously weren’t close at all anymore and if he was not the nephew of her step father she probably would not see him at all. No, Rory’s in love with Logan. She was with him any chance she got and when she was not with him she was reaching for her phone. Lastly, Logan is the father of Rory’s baby and in my mind, she gets the courage to lay her heart on the line because Rory didn’t say no to marrying him ever but just not right after graduation and she didn’t want things to end because like she once said, she can’t help it she is in love with Logan.

It made me really upset when Rory said no to Logan when she knows they are meant for each other

“Ace” I can’t anymore I cry every time. ❤️ Notice how Rory was ready for a relationship at the beginning, but Logan couldnt. But at the end Logan was ready for marriage and it looked like Rory was too. But she said no.

Logan is perfect for rory he really loved her

The "Revival Rory" is not the Rory we loved. Her caracter was messed up and Alexis acting like she's not even care about her caracter anymore.

Logan was always faithful to Rory & they both changed each other for better. I don't know anyone see's Logan as the bad guy, he was the perfect one for Rory. Jess treated Rory like shit & kept showing up every couple of years & Dean broke her heart 3 times! And the last time it happened Logan felt for her & was there for her. They took care of each other, cared about each other & loved each other no matter what happened. When Rory & Logan did break up those two times I don't think Logan would've tried to get her back if he unless he truly loved her. It's every person's dream love story. It is quite obvious that Logan is the father of Rory's baby & I hate the way they left us on a cliffhanger. There gonna be another season of a year in the life this November & I hope it's a good one. They are destined to be together, Logan supported her with everything we she done whether it was a good or a bad choice. They loved each other so much. technically, Rory never said no to Logan's proposal, she just said it wasn't the right time for her. And even after 9+ years he still called her ace. I really hope in season 2 of a year in the life that Rory & Logan end up together. That's all I want. I want to meet my Logan someday. Someone who would push me, make me take chances & someone who loves me as much Logan loved Rory ❤️

Logan and Rory are endgame. Period. My heart hurt so much after watching this.

I know they haven’t done another revival, but I’ve truly believe that Logan is the babies father. and I don’t believe that Logan married Odette. I think he walked away from that, he’s willing to give his family the career, but he wasn’t willing to give his family his heart. that belongs to Rory.

I wanted to punch Rory when she said no to Logan’s proposal! I loved them together and no matter how many times he messed up I was and forever will be team Logan. I know they would of made such a good married couple as they acted like they already were one. Once he finally realized how much he loved her and how much he needed to make sure he didn’t do anything else to try to hurt her, he was the right man for her. He always pushed her to peruse her dream of being a journalist and even found multiple jobs for her if she said yes to him and moved across the country with him. He also always made her life an adventure in such a good way! He always put her first and the way he smiled at her! They were endgame and they belonged together no matter what!!! I hate that Rory said no and I think she really messed up there. I also hate his good bye in the series. It made sense in that moment I just wish we got a better good bye from him as he made such a big impact in the series. Also his proposal speech was perfect and so sweet! I kept hoping Rory would say yes at her graduation and say something like “I would love that avocado tree” or “yes I want to jump!” Also I don’t know why but for some reason when he calls her “ace” I instantly fall in love with him all over again!!! If there was a 2nd revival series I would start it with the opening scene as Rory playing with her kid in the living room and then Logan walking in from the next room over or walking in the front door and then them kissing. It’s so obvious that if Rory had ever said marry me not her in year in the life then Logan would immediately say yes! They will never get over each other because they belong together!!! If Rory told Logan about the baby he would drop everything to be with her and raise their baby together! This is the biggest mistake of her life. And I think the writers screwed up here, they decided that in the end Rory ended up where her mother was, instead of showing how she went a different way. Because Rory + Logan and Lorelai + Christopher are very different stories. Rory and Logan's relationship was mature, they lived together, they supported each other, they understood each other and neither of them could ever do better. In the end, Tristan was a crush (a barley one at all), Dean was her first love, Jess was her bad boy phase, and Logan was TRUE LOVE!!! They should have ended up together! Also they can’t just leave us with that ending of the revival series! There better be another season of it! And in that next season, Rory better tell Logan about the baby, Logan better drop everything to be with her (which we know he would in a heartbeat), Rory and Logan better end up together like they belong and raise that baby together and get married, and they better get their avocado tree!!!!!
