Shaping it both ways and apex anywhere from 80 to 160 feet optimized to conditions. Added 6-8mph ball speed since he stopped chasing Bryson. Just incredible. Great content.

The sound Rory’s driver makes when he hits one on the screws (which is most of the time) is like nothing else. No one else’s driver makes that sound, it’s awesome!

I remember seeing him at Adars Manor in Ireland as a 16 year old , hitting he 350 , his swing had a longer arch back then .

@@tc-scripture5808 Cam smith putting 😂😂😂 just tiger himself was a better wedge player than Sergio, hit his irons better than morikawa, and is one of the greatest putters of all time, I think cam smith is top 10 of the past couple years. Driving could be a number of people other than Bryson, he hits the ball far but not very accurate 😂

@@Jonathan-cz4ky Bryson's driving accuracy is 59%. Tour average is 57% and he is by far the longest hitter on tour becoming the first player to average over 320 yards off the tee. And he just recently placed in 2nd at the PLDA championship (world long drive championship) and their fairways are only 50 yards wide. His longest drive on the grid was over 425 yards

@@Luke-uw6dp Tiger was among the top for several years and had been the longest hitter on tour with better driving accuracy and not as good technology. He was hitting it 316 yards in 2005….and 10 years prior 298….we’re talking 1995, 25 years before Bryson started hitting hit 320 lol

Anyone notice most of his longest drives were cuts. Probably because they find the fairway easier than draws but I’m surprised still.

Not really surprised because today’s drivers and golf balls are lower spinning, which allow for that reliable fade. Also, a lot of speed comes when you get really open by rotating so hard (which favors the fade).

Pretty simple, nobody who has the swing speed uses all of it. The more you get warmed up and more so comfortable the harder you swing.

As a long time golfer waht surprises me is how far a ball going 185mph goes versus how far it did back in 2000. (Tiger was at 185 in 2000) and you would be just nudging over a 300 average back then with that ball speed
