That audience. Are they all dead? A very different audience to the first time I saw Rory live in Woolwich, London. He was support act to Poison Girls, an anarcho punk band. Rory harped and tapped his way round all the tables in the basement area where the gig was and just blew us all away. Saw him loads of times afterwards. Sometimes supporting punk bands (100 Club was another good one) where he just got everyone dancing and going nuts and a few times I saw him playing to beardy types at local jazz clubs who sat there in total silence. Most odd.
