I cant get over how much rory has confidence and non-chalance attitude rarely seen in someone her age. Very few people I knew growing up were so sure of themselves and needed no validation at that impressionable age. I think her mother gave her confidence, she fed off that for very long. Good foundation can take you very far... only so far, but very far.

I think that Rory, after going to Chilton and after going to Yale, she became part of the spoiled and rich kids group she once judged. Before Chilton, she was around simple people and had a more down to earth lifestyle. This life was harder but she had more honest and real relashionships, even though they treated her like she was a one of a kind kid, letting her ego grow insanely. After entering this new and fancy world, she embraced this lazy lifestyle, she didn't have to pay for college (insane) and had this perfect life where she had to prove nothing to no one. I am sorry to say this, because I see that Logan was a good guy, but I have the feeling she saw in Logan this perfect and easy lifestyle she was fascinated with, even if Logan himself saw the flaws of this kind of lifestyle. The first and only person who tried to make her think about her life and behaviour was Mitchum: I don't think he was trying to make her feel bad, he was really kind but direct with her. I think he was trying to let her see that life is about being couragious, about going out of your comfort zone all the time to get what you want. He was really nice, I see that now that I had horrible bosses and I esperienced how working actually is. I believe she has to go back to reality if there will be new seasons, understand what's really important in life to go back to this version of herself, when she was secure, driven and she knew she had to be truthful to herself first and to work hard to get what you want.

It's good to have an effort to make friends. But Adults have a prejudice. Rory is a great kid. Rory & We don't have to show a servile attitude like Paris. I like Paris. But I don't on this episode. We can be friends on a equal relationship beyond race, money, gender and so on.
