Poch has done incredibly well to make those players as competitive as they have been this season. He has to rotate over 30 insecure frustrated young players with no experienced senior players in the dressing room to help. Despite the billion spent.Chelsea still need a keeper, a centre half, and a striker at the very least and they need all the other players to hit the ground running in every game and gel as a consistent cohesive team. I think Pep is the only man in the world that could have made Chelsea more successful this season. Poch had an impossible job to make those kids finish in the top 4 and win a cup at least for people like Rory.

Boehly only gave Poch a 2 year contract which started all the noise about Poch being on trial and replaced, whilst giving players 7 year contracts.. Boehly visiting the training ground and dressing ground regularly only further undermines Poch in an impossible job, whilst reportedly meeting with Amorim which is unfair on Poch. Poch needs to be backed and not undermined which makes a difficult job even more challenging.
